I have an idea for the golden avatar contest. A casualty contest.

Rules

-Can be anything that is dead. Stabbed, slashed, hung, shot, burnt, severed...as long as it's dead.
-Cannot have the killer in the picture...then it's a diorama.
-3 pictures of your entry only
-Can be from either warhammer fantasy or warhammer 40,000
-Maybe include explosions and/or shots fired...(That killed the model)
-Must include more then a pile of blood. We want to know where the model is, and what the model was. (i.e. include scenery...)

I got this idea from Tau Online. It really is a pretty good site.

Doesn't it! There's so many posibilities. But how do we get people informed about it.

I think we'll run with the Fiction competition that has just started up. If people are happy to start submitting entries to this than we can run it at the same time, or if you want to wait until after Christmas, when we have spare bits from new models, and run the competition for January.

Sorry guys, this idea wasn't set off on date because of our retarted organisation during the fiction competition.

When you guys are ready start converting and what not. I take it the only criteria is that it has to be dead, and the more blood and guts the better. ;) The cut off date the first weekend of February?

Actually eagle i made a post previously about the rorian campaign i think but mabye there wasnt a post count there. Anyway I got my plan so im good. I just need to know how to make slushy or goopy mud. Any tips?

yeah, but it'd require you to smoke or have access to pure ash.

mix it with PVA glue. it makes a greyish mess, but once it starts to harden its easy to work with. or you can just wrap plastic wrap around the base and pour some in.

or mix the GW water effects with fine sand.

I have a few ideas but I have a few questions

A) can i make a cardboard base? Not much bigger then the one i have just a little.

B) It is established that it can have explosions. What if we make it so there is an explosion and the gy is flying through the air. Does that count or is it to close to not being dead?

C) can the model have a livilng animal on it? Not an animal that killed it but an animal such as a puppy or cat.

A) Any kind of base you want. Just don't make it too big.

B) As long as the guys dead. He can be flying in the air if he wants, as long as he is dead.

C) Nothing wrong with that.

One thing I wanted with this comp is to make it leignant so people don't have to worry about breaking rules. Jus make sure the guy is dead :D

What is the actual Due date on this? friday night or sunday night?

Thought it was the first Saturday in Febuary. So does that mean this Saturday?

yes, all entries are to be posted this saturday. Then Sunday Afternoon (to allow for last minute entries and time difference) I will start a voting thread. I'm sorry but unless there is a mass of entries that are late getting in or there are extrodinary circumstances, then your minature cannot be entered once the voting thread is started.
