okay looking to add a few pathfinders to my ghost walker force , classic iyanden colours except i normally use a darker blue
the theme of my army is very alien even my warp spdiers are painted to look as xeno as possible
so need suggestions for a camo scheme that
fits with iyanden
makes the rangers look as alien as possible
yet is still a camo scheme
was thinking of just getting the ranger figs with helmits no exposed faces but that may prove too costly
have desert camo tallarn snipers already so want something different
ideas please

Anyway you probably got an idea by now but I just hate to see a post go unanswered so let me just answer your question :)

Maybe you could do sort of like a web of black or dark blue. Put dark blue splotches on the cloak and join them with thin lines making it resemble a web. I think it could look cool if done properly.

My first thought is to try to do something like the Vorlon ships from Babylon 5; an example can be seen here:

This should look suitably organic and natural, and different from the blocky or splattered Imperial camo.

a superb idea even the right colours sadly have done my pathfinders now in dark blue and sea green claoks with a mottled grey , the dark blue and very small 1 spot of yellow help fit them to iyanden but i might use this idea for a future unit or my scorpion conversions
