i've been thinking lately (surprising i know :P ) that this site could do with a chat box thingamajigger, probably not viable at this point in time because of not having enough members, but possibly an idea for the future when multiple people are online at once, just figured i'd throw that one in the works for some discussion :D

Just for the record could you explain what a chat box is

ah well, it's kinda like a MSN or instant messenger i guess, some sites have them on the actual front apge of the site for all to see while others (the better ones IMO) have a link in which you run the chat box, and anyone on the forum can enter and just talk, i rather like it on the other forums i go on, it makes for some funny times and brings people closer together, altogether it's rather fun

Yeah i agree with that, ive seen one on the Blood Keep i think.

A shout box has been something I always wanted to add to this site. I asked Meaphet about them a while back, but sadly never followed it up.

If someone knows how to install one onto a site, please contact me.

what kind are you thinking of? the on the front page kind, or the one's that link to a new page?

personally i prefer the ones that link, they provide a bigger screen, and that way only members can see what is being said

Yeah I'll agree with that, a link one would be better

I'm personaly more used to front page ones, but give us a link to a couple of different ones we may be able to get and we'll decide on which one we'll use.

umm, well i only ever use the one at www.asur.org.uk so i know no others, and i'm pretty sure you have to sign up as a member at a.org, but if not well you'll find out, and either way i doubt they'll care, they have more members than we do posts :D , the link to the chat box is in the top bar on the front page if you're interested
