The Golden Avatar is an event which most other sites also have in some shape or form. Quite simply is can be a contest of anything tied to the hobby we all know and love as Warhammer 40K. The contests could include painting, converting, scenery, writing, poetry, and anything else you can think of.

Also, in future Global Campaigns or site run Campaigns that we are involved in, Members may recieve the Golden Avatar award for preforming particularly well with their armies. These preformers however will be decided upon and told they have won the Golden Avatar, do not request it or you may get a warning instead.

The Golden Avatar is essentially an Avatar banner that members may choose to display in their signatures, as well as a custome title of their choosing.

Remember this is supposed to be a friendly community event, so if the Golden Avatar is being held please do your best to get involved and make it a success every time.

The Golden Avatar just ran for the scenery competition. When a new Golden Avatar competition is being run a thread will apear on this forum. So hold onto your converted minature untill the time comes.

it is certainly an advantage. Painted models are going to be more noticed than unpainted models.

But a full criteria will be released when the next Golden Avatar is held. (probably in a couple of weeks)

Can we have a new comp soon? maybe fluff or single painted character ?
