What is a good friend?

What is a good friend,
A guardian angel sent from above,
A candle in the darkest places,
A sunflower following the sun

What is a good friend,
A person you spend hours talking to on the phone,
A person that lets you know you're not alone
A person to pick you up when you fall down,
Someones shoulder to cry on,

A good friend is all of these things,
But there is one important factor missing,
A good friend is also someone that comes to you,
When they are in need or are feeling blue,
Because after all they need you too

Very nice work there chani. I think this is the first poetry we've had on the craftworld. Good to hear something a little less, um, bloodthirstly for a change.

I Was Fooled

You tried to make me happy,
But it went terribly wrong,
Now I feel cheated,
You fooled me all along,

I thought I could trust you,
But now I see,
That even the ones you love,
Can turn the other key,

No, I'm not mad at you,
Just dissapointed,
Dissapointment is always worse,
But so is lying,
Even if the truth does hurt,

I'll forgive you eventually,
But right now I feel cold,
Cold as in emotionless,
Everything I ever felt for you is lost,
Yes, your lie came with a cost,

But tonight I sit here thinking,
Though not about you,
Just the simple disbelief and anger,
That you had me fooled,

I don't know a alot about poetry, but I will say that I like the both of those.

The second one hits me harder though. I can't say it hits closer to home, but I just like it more. Can't get the words to tell you exactly why though...

Touching each other in places forbidden & taboo
Right then the kisses begin to travel all over
Yes...on a sultry summers night they'll make love

Stimulated and aroused he's obviously driven
Underneath her as she slowly lowers herself
Missing no moves she puts the hands on his chest
Motions of love glide as she lovingly takes him
Even as he kisses her neck and then lips lock
Roaming hands cover what is not being filled
Sensational passion as they combine into one

Now there's there's fire and increase desires
It's more than the temperature that's rising
Grasping on to each other...they're in a frenzy
Holding each other until they both explode
Together then they'll linger...on a sultry summers night

I'll allow this, but only because it is not a deliberate attempt to break any rules and is honest poetry. However I'll ask you to keep your stuff a little more PG rated from now on, for the sake of younger members. (We were all/still are young once, and we all know warnings aren't going to stop anyone from reading it)

On a lighter note they are both quite good Chani. Keep up the good work...only a different content I think.
