I might take a stab at this, but can it be any terrain? (eg, not Eldar)

Warlock Rom - August 16, 2006 08:30 AM (GMT)
Cool,

Can the scenery be of any army of eldar based?

Farseer Concerta - August 16, 2006 09:04 AM (GMT)
cal you need to make it so any 1 can reply to this topic there is some bloking thing up no won but mods and admins can reply without your permishon at the moment

the scenery can br for any army but it needs to be 40k please tell us what your entrys are cause i have no idea what lict's is

the gotta be painted

Inquisitor Liechtenstein - August 21, 2006 04:59 AM (GMT)
Mine is made from parts of a circular saw and grout. I use it most often as a centerpiece objective, where it acts as power generators/shield generators/an item that needs to be blown up by a kill team/objective/etc.

I love it (but I am slightly biased on the matter), especially for kill teams.

Calaith - August 21, 2006 06:40 AM (GMT)

hi everyone

Ok I've fixed the problem with the board so, as is obvious, everyone can now reply to topics here.

@ Beil-tarun

I like your piece of terrain, but painting it would probably be an advantage in this competition.

Hope to see lots more entries

Cheers, Cal

Farseer Concerta - August 21, 2006 08:31 AM (GMT)
yay it is fixed

krazyboris - August 21, 2006 10:16 PM (GMT)
Okay, here is a small rubble-ish-battlefield-extra i made recently, to help my CoD terrain. It dosent really have a particular theme, other than desert CoD (same as the rest of my stuff)

Very nice. Can we see pics of the rest of your models, as your painting is very impressive.

krazyboris - August 22, 2006 05:59 AM (GMT)
Thanks :)

My models are necrons, and are at this site =>

Out of a matter of interest, what are the details of the contest exactly? Such as when is it closing? Will it be open for a month or two? Is the winner simply going recieve a custom title, or will there be a special title, such as on Boot Camp there is th Golden Lasgun, etc.

Calaith - August 27, 2006 01:31 AM (GMT)

The competition closes on the 1st of October I believe, but I'll double check with Concerta.

A custom title is pretty much all there is for the moment, though looking at Boot Camp's golden Las-gun, and the CSGs Golden Scarab, we may look to do something similar.

The contest has pretty much no limitations apart from the fact that it has to be a scenery piece. Painted and completed scenery pieces deffinetaly have an advantage over unpainted or incomplete pieces. But the judging is pretty much me and Concerta's joint opinion on which we think is the best, and deserves to win the most, though we may have things we look for in particular such as: Paint job, or how interesting, different or cool the piece looks.

Cheers, Calaith

I think the idea of something goldern is a great idea Cal, plus a custom title, cause thn the winner can be recogised in two ways. And it makes them feel good B)

krazyboris - August 27, 2006 11:29 PM (GMT)
Im not sure what you guys are talking about with the other site and all, but you can always have a custom sig extra or somthing.

chani the flame - August 28, 2006 06:40 AM (GMT)
but then we would need some 1 to create a custom sig for us i don't know who we would get to do that?

Euleze - August 28, 2006 07:38 AM (GMT)
Yes me and Cal have been disscusing a custom sig. I have come up with one design.

Calaith - August 28, 2006 08:07 AM (GMT)

more discussion of this is to be done elsewhere please. This thread is for further entries into the competition.
