After looking at this list i see you have tried to make an all shooting style list, including your H.Q.

First of all, is it an Archon or a Dracon??

Secondly, the Dark eldar lord is imo one of the best close combat warriors in the whole of 40k, with the abilty to take down wraithlords and carnifexes with relative ease. So, instead of a power weapon which with the lords Strength of 3 wont be much use, take an agoniser... its only 5 points more but worth its weight in gold.

Also, many would agree with me here in saying that the soul seeker amunition its quite possibly the most useless peice of wargear on he block. Your lord isnt going to kill anyone shooting a splinter rifle, even with re-rolling missed hits.

I suggest swapping the rifle for a pistol (+1 attack) which is more combat orientated but thats what th elord is all about.

You should find some points for combat drugs, they are great for just about fighting anything.

Last of all the haywire grenades,,, as there wont be many dreadnaughts in 500 points, you shouldnt need them but of coarse its your choice.

A retinue of 5 warriors is quite often a disaster, for as soon as you lose 1 or 2 men, you start taking leadership tests. And at 5+ saves that wont be long. Your lord will be running off the table before you can blink, ive seen it happen many times before. I suggest drop the retinue, and use the points to maybe get another troop squad.

Even though you said you like bulking up your sybarites, this probably wouldnt be all too useful in this situation. Your sybarites are almost costing the same amount as your lord lol.

Maybe you could have what i/many others call a sniper squad:

10 warriors: 2 Dark lances

So your lord/assault troops advance under fire from 2 dark lances, at only 100 points.

I mucked around with your list and a few ideas and came up with thiss:

Archon: Agoniser, Shadow field, Combat Drugs, Splinter pistol

14 Warriors: 2 splinter cannons, 2 Blasters, Sybarite: Agoniser, Splinter pistol

10 Warriors: 2 dark lances

10 warriors: 2 dark lances

.499 points.

.the idea of this is the 14 warriors and the lord advance under the fire of the other squads. Tell me what you think.

Cheers, Brak
