Description: my fluff for biel tan

Farseer mensha felt uneasy, she knew preparations had to be completed
for the next day’s onslaught, so she gathered her warlocks and went outside into the sunlit field. There in front of her stood a mighty war host of biel-tan. Warriors from each aspect came to her aid. howling banshees, striking scorpions, fire dragons, swooping hawks, dire avengers, and shining spears all that was left Farseer mensha felt uneasy. She knew that there were preparations to be made to do was to summon the avatar of khaine.
With that she and her warlocks turned to the statue and chanted" Kela Mensa khaine, kela mensha khaine rise and lead us into battle rise, rise, rise! and suddenly the statue glowed red and then fire erupted on it and the avatar was once more called to lead the eldar of biel-tan like it did so many times before...
in the days after that the imperial guard saw no rest and only death blood and tears as the eldar destroyed wave after wave of defenders to clear the path for the craftworld into the imperium. The eldar fought with a fury that even the space marines that joined the fight could not match. for then after the massacre the 2nd platoon of the imperial guard saw with horror that only two eldar transports were destroyed and only the crew and five eldar warriors were dead for the counted total of 1000 men of the gaurd and 20 space marines...
When the slaughter was ripe the avatar grew in light and soon it would be impossible to stop. The eldar were infuriated at the imperials for stealing the venom stone. The key to unlocking the secrets and weaknesses of slannesh.
With it’s power they could rewrite what happened during the fall and restore their race and craftworld to it’s former glory.
Through the following months the gaurd was at loss the imperials guarding the sectors that the craftworld passed were slaughtered and every base checked for the venom stone. There was no luck until they reached terra. The imperials fought fiercely but the eldar made it to the palace and at the top of the steep stairway they found their quarry. An inquisitor stood beside a podium that it rested on. He said to the xenos who had invaded his holy home. “do you want this, well you can never have it any more!” with that the inquisitor took his mighty hammer and thrust down smashing the venom stone into pieces.
With they’re quarry destroyed the eldar withdrew from the imperium, never to find out how to defeat slannesh.

An interesting story. I'm imagining it would have had to have been in early Imperial times for the Eldar to have reached Terra.
Quite good descriptiveness of the fighting of the Beil-Tan and their indeed fierce nature on the battle field. I also liked the idea of a Female Farseer, something we didn't usualy see in the old days. I liked it though spelling of a few names could be cleaned up. ei: Slaanesh, Kaela Mensha Khaine.
I'm also moving it to the board intended for our own fluff stories, this board is more intended for the discussion of GW fluff rather than posting our own stories. Commin mistake though. :)
Cheers, Cal

Sounds really good. I don't wish to be nit-picky (but Cal will very promptly tell you how nit-picky I am), but over 1000 dead Guardsmen seems a bit steep to me for only two eldar transports five eldar warriors to have carked it; I mean, the Guard are bad shots, but not that bad (with that many lasguns they would have had to have achieved something.

did i forget to mention one of vthe transports was a super heavy tank

Yeah, I agree that a slighty larger tank would draw a lot of firepower, but five casualties for 1000 is still a bit steep in my opinion.

great story but i agree with Lich

yeah not a bad read, but i agree with Lich as well. a few more elder casulalties would have been likely.
very like a GW story, " here is the key to saving your race but we will snatch it away at the last "
