Hi Guys,

I've been turning things over in my head, and I have a propersition for you. A simple question for which I would like an answer from as many of you as possible.

"Should the 'Black Library' be for GW based stories only, or should it be open for people to post their stories about anything?"

This is primarily a GW based forum, and was constructed with the purpose of being a place for Eldar, Dark Eldar and Harlequins (and hopefully in the future Exodites.) to meat and talk about the famed race and the hooby. However for those of you who enjoy writting, or reading, would you prefer the freedom to write about anything you wish and get critisizm?

Don't make this decision lightly. Being such a small forum every vote will count. If you can also find an alternate to this problem please feel free to suggest. (I was considering making a story board in the Off Topic section, but might just be a waist of space.)

Also keep in mind, if this forum does become one open for sotries of all kind, I will be prowling it constantly for spamming. I do not want people to post nonesense and call it a story. You must be honest in your want for feed back, and not just posting a story because you can.

One option that you have is to just create another forum within the Black Library section that can just have random pieces of writing.

that is like my idea i mean if you want a story about eldar you look in "black libairy" if you want a romantic story you look in a diffierent board

A sub-forum is a cool idea. Just another question that hit me was how many people will use it though?

Being a writter myself I know I'll use it all the time, but I don't want a board primarily for my own personal use when it doesn't really help the greater community.

Go with the sub-forums idea.

i say let people post anything now, but when more stories start to get posted perhaps sort them out then, until then i dont feel its worth seperating them

Official: You may post a story based on anything and it will not be moved. However if we get alot of stories like this, then we will create a sub-forum. So feel free to write about whatever you like, 40K, GW or something entirely different.
