Title: Serious Hacker Problems
Description: A serious thread.

It has come to my attention that there is a slightly larger glitch with Warvault. Aparently a few hours ago the site was hacked, and more or less utterly destroyed. The general feeling at Warvault is that the admins from other sites, as well as myself, want to rebuild it.

That in itself is a huge disaster, but I have also recieved news that there have been other sites being hacked lately. It is perfectly possible that we could be a target, for whatever reason (most likely a random site for those lifeless &%@%$ to destroy.)

This is my main concern at the moment, though I will give you all regular updates about Warvault and other sites.

The main issue is, what do we do if our site is hacked to pieces and we come back to find it destroyed? I, as far as I know, do not have a backup forum for us to migrate too. However, I do have all the tools I need to start from scratch if this site is brought to the ground.

Essentially this site is for people to keep their ears and eyes peeled, and PM either Euleze or myself if they hear anything, or post it here.

Regards, Calaith

Yes it is a shame for Warvault :(. There is one peice of advice I offer, change your password dayly with mixed numbers & letters. Make sure to change your emails home password dayly as well, diifrent from the forum one.

But I wouldnt worry, word on the net is now they have hacked First Hand of Hashut, Black Tavern & now Warvault. It's a toss up bewtween Boot Camp, Blood Keep & Carpe Noctem  so no fears.

Thanks Craig,

All the same I want this forum on alert shall we be a target in the future. I may begin the construction of a new site to use as a backup, but aren't going to seriusly into this. Fortunately because this is only a small site, I can remake it in about an hour. The only problem would be all our current posts would be lost, and I might have a bit of trouble spreading the word of our new site to all our current members.

Cheers, Cal
