ok here's my first army list any advice would be much appreciated, as i want to get this list completely figured out before i buy anything. It's a 1,999 point list.
Heroes:
Noble- Sword of Might, Blood Armour, Sea Dragon Cloak, Mounted on chariot
Sorceress- Level 2, Dispel Scroll, Darkstar Cloak
Sorceress- Level 2, Dispel Scroll, Seal of Ghrond
Core:
16 Warriors- Shields, Musician, Standard Bearer
16 Warriors- Shields, Musician, Standard Bearer
10 Warriors- Shields, Repeater Crossbows
10 Warriors- Shields, Repeater Crossbows
5 Dark Riders- Repeater Crossbows, Musician
Special:
15 Executioners- Musician, Standard Bearer, Banner of Murder
2 Cold One Chariots- Spears
7 Cold One Knights- Musician, Standard Bearer, Dread Knight
Rare:
2 Reaper Bolt Throwers
Alternately i would take a nob;e as a battle standard bearer carrying the hydra banner, riding a cold one, with heavy armour, sea dragon cloak and lance. Then another noble on a dark steed, wearing heavy armour, shield, sea dragon cloak and Blade of Ruin. These would replace the two sorceresses when fighting against armies such as Dwarves and Khorne.

Just a few thoughts, as I don't really collect Dark Elves, nor have I played them in this edition...
Think about the pros & cons of placing your army general in a chariot. While he will be more powerful in mêlée, his leadership may race ahead of those who need it most. Chariots also make for easy targets. One good cannonball hit and its toast.
Have you really thought about the benefits of Dark Riders? I see the single unit in the list, and while this may work out well, most lists I've seen have more than one unit. Most DE players swear by them.

yeah alot of people on teh druchii forum told me to take another squad, i may rearrange things to get another squad in, and with the chariot i would've placed him on a cold one or something but i ran out of points, however things ahve changed since then, maybe i can get him one now :D
yes you really need to add another unit of darkriders. i personally never run without 4 units of 5 in a 2000pt list.
my favourite combo for a DE general is blade of ruin and black amulet. the 'no Sv' is very handy and the black amulet is just funny.
