Hi there,

I was just wondering who's going/gone to Conflict? This year is my first year in a tornament and Conflict for me is in four weeks (Melbourne, Vic.)

For those of you who are going, what army do you plan to use? If you need any advice on your list please feel free to post it in the apropriate race's forum for critique and advice. Also is anyone here going to the Conflict at Box Hill in Melbourne? If so I'll see you there.
also feel free to ask questions about the tornament in general here in this thread.

For those of you who have gone to Conflict, wether it was this years or before, please feel free to post here to share your experience, tell us what tornament play is like, and also what army you used and how you fared?

Well, sadly (for me) im not going this year, no cash (or army). However, I have a few friends at a nearby gaming club, they might be going. Best of luck to you Calaith, and anyone else who may be competeing. :)

Where abouts is your gaming club KB? I noticed that you said you were from Australia...or at least I think it was you, correct me if I'm wrong.

well ive been to conflict and i came 11th, i was in 5th but a close game (i won) dropped me back, major point of interest, "soft scores" add up, sportsman ship is a major fact, so if they forget something, let them do it because as if a bloodthirster would forget to charge, there are other but make sure you dont make any stpid mistakes, because they cost you big time.

if something bad happens (you roll 5 dice and get 5 ones dont go aaarg, yell out yatzee :D) it keeps the game more interesting and tends to bump up you soft scores...
