Is there a reliable site to get foreign packs and boxes?
I am looking for mostly newer stuff (Mirrodin--Rav), but I can't find a site that will sell them for a decent price. This is a french site but boxes are a bit over-priced

The boxes are not overpriced at all. On the contrary, they are quite cheap. Magic cards are a lot more expensive in Europe (3,50 € is the regular price for a booster) than in the USA. This is the reason why StarCityGames and others are forbidden to ship cards outside the USA.
It would surprise me if you find (european) Magic cards cheaper than that.

This place has foreign stuff, their inventory changes frequently, today I didn't too much stuff in the Kamagawa and Ravnica sets. But they have Mirrodin block. I hope this helps.

I don't know where to get them on the net, but my local shop usually sells foreign boosters. The variety of them is rather limited compared to the English versions. They sell Chinese Torment Boosters, Korean Tempest Tourney Packs and Russian Ravnica Boosters... but you probably don't live anywhere near Belgium, do you ?

Lol, nah... I live on the West Coast of the USA. But packs really cost that much in other countries? That sucks.....

What is it with Chinese Torment? Why the hell is it the only kind of foreign magical object I am bound to come across? Did the Chinese hate torment that much, or did Wizards print way to much of it?

This is totally off topic but when I first started to play some guy tried to tell me that they reprinted black lotus in torment and the chinese ones were worth even more and you can't find them on ebay because they are that desirable. I didn't believe him at all because I just look stupid. Peace RJ

I have never seen a different pack for sale in chinese. Save Torment, they prolly had too much skeleton art to redo and the chinese banned Torment from sanctioned tourneys ;).

Surely you know about the Chinese peoples' aversion to skeletons and dead bodies. As Torment is the Black set, and would thus feature a higher amount of dead bodies and such, it was most likely not selling well in hina.

I do know that the Chinese cannot have skeletons in the art, that is what the post and subsequent joke are refering to.
