For what it's worth, I have a friend who's dad was a Freemason (lots of cool shit was left to the kid when he died). Now my friend actually qualifies to become a Mason, after completing several levels of testing and whatnot.
After going through all the papers, items, and books left to my friend when his dad died, it looks as if half the shit on this website revolving around conspiracy theories is way off base.
Either my bro's pop wasn't high enough in rank to be given such information (the masons asked for nothing nor came to retrieve anything after his death), or any and all real politcal influence they had is gone.

I'd say the Freemasons probably absorbed the Jews in their world-domination plan. The Jews now help cover up for the Freemasons, stopping all investigation with accusations of Neo-Nazism.

I actually have a close friend who is a mason. Its similar to the Jew theories, the mason theories don't hold water.
The only secretive stuff they do is ways of recognition. At least nowadays anyway.
And the Nights Templar have no actual connection to the freemasons.
I still wouldn't want to become one though.*
*since they've taken over the world :shifty:

Crescent moon's been, like, forever the sign of Turkic Shamanism and is completely irrelevant to Masonry.
My uncle's a free mason, and it's not like "They're just an organisation." I'm not a conspirarist, nor do I hate Masonry, yet they are just not "innocent".
There are things that you don't know about, how reliable such sources like Internet or Media are anyway.
And Masonry is damn related to Knight Templars.
Speak about things you just know about, god.
(Oh and I'm jewish by heritage. >_>)

TO get into the actual society of Masons you have to become either a level 32 or leerl 33( i cant remember which). Until then you are nothing, at the point you reach that level you start to learn whatever secrets it is they know.

33.

I couldn't remember if 32 was the last level of peonism or the first level of ACTUALLY being a freemason.
I can't remember to much of the things I used to know about them but to me it seems fairly obvious they hold some amount of power or else people would just join the Moose Lodge or something like that instead.

Actually, they are really not. Although the masons would like to believe they are.
Masonry started because of the guilds of the middle ages. Not because some heretical group of Christians who thought they found the Holy Grail decided to make them.

I had a relative that was a 33rd order Mason, so I suppose I could get in on that. The Masons now seem like one of the "get together so we can drink on Sunday" groups nowadays.
But Meandeck is a secretive enough organization for me, and if I need a drinking gang, they'll do just fine.

That is what they are now. At one point there were quite "involved" in the machinations of society, but now, not so much.

or so they would have you think :ph43r:
