Well I knew I was reaching the mark of getting a promo (Thought it would be a different one then the one I got).

So I open it and I see a Promo foil Hypnotic Specter with the old art and the new format. I say thats sweet on so many levels. Yes over the years I finly hit to 20 mark on events that I went to that gave me credit.

Plus I got these as well.

Yes my first hippy is a promo ^_^.

I would sell it and buy all the cards you are missing to make your R/W and R/G and affinity decks work.

How much? I was looking at the price on ebay and it had a range of 50-75 bucks a peace. Plus I would need to talk to my dad first.

Im going to be watching what they are going for for now. Tell my dad I do have a card that can be worth money. Then see if I can get it up. Then if that happens ask him if I can spend the money on more cards ;). Pick up some of the ones I need to finish/retool my r/g deck depending on how much I get. One reason why ill be watching.

Am I the only person who really likes the new hyppie art? I think it is waaaaaaaaay better than the old one. Seriously guys, the whole specters are ghastly things that ride dragony things motif kicks ass!

I like the old art. I'm not really sure why, I just like the spectral soldier thingy.

Personally, I MUCH prefer the old art.

The old art keeps the flavor of the game, even though the rest of the card structure has changed. The new art is just kinda lame in comparison. Some dragon sitting on a rock somewhere, vs a big armored, axe bearing ghost in your face and hacking away at your spells as he hacks away at your life is just so much damn more appealing.

I like the new art a lot it's just that the DCI Hyppies are fucking golden.

I myself love both but, fonzy your right the DCI one just has that look to it that makes it cool. I now have it in a black card cover and it looks just a little cooler to me. Then again I just took it out of its rapper and im trying to keep the freash DCI look to it.

The new art shines in gold. Very beautiful. Really. But I preferred old art more.

Seeing Flying Dragon as 2/2 is err... kinda lame to me. I like the old one more because it's more like a "ghost" or "wraith" which wandering in darkness...

Triple-CoK was cool for obvious reasons :rip:

Yes, after triple COK, double COK just couldn't keep up.
