Ill build some horrible casual creation. Jeez, after I finish power, and pick up Zaars, I will *GASP* have to find something else to blow cash on. I have pretty much every Legacy staple I want, or enough to trade for what I need at that time. I just hope I can finish the power by Origins next year. Shouldnt be too hard if I get lots of overtime like lately.

*edit* BTW, the Ruby is insanely beautiful, VERY fresh. The ancestral is about as good as it gets without paying out the arse.

Build the ABS Shop deck, it doesn't need power. Then use your drains and power for Control Slaver or [doug] Gifts [/doug].

That goes for all you other Type 1 junkies here. We have like a TON of type 2 cards, so no deck is out of the question except rats and RDW.

I don't like signed cards anymore. It annoys me, unless I am the one that got the power signed, I dont want it. And I wouldnt do thatt, because it drops the value IMO.

I tried workshops and bazaars and transmutes once. Dropped the shops for ancient tombs, and then scratched the idea.

Then Nyphe and I came up with a Drain/Shop deck. It was ok. 5tinker ruled out after a while. Because, really, you just don't need that much mana, and drains without force of will is dumb.

Lyle, I assume you have duals...in that case you can probably play any 10 proxy deck you want (I always end up burning some proxies on duals :-/)

If you need to blow cash play T2 and keep up to date, that should blow cash for you enough.

on topic: It seems to me that the general consensus is that if you have the money, you should buy the shops, duals and drains first, then proxy the power at tournys then win the power. But power is sooooo sexy. I bought a lotus, ox ruby and a recall and I would abs. never regret it. Period.
