Title: Ummm Heidi?

Heidi????? Today we were letting our little Heidi bunny out to play. After a while i picked her up and turned her on her back and went, um........mom..... You might want to look at Heidi. She was either molting or she is a he. Sure enough Heidi isn't Heidi. We have a little Buck.
We are kind of sad in a way because we really wanted a doe so we could breed her later on. In another way we are happy because if we didn't know for a while that would be bad!!!

haha another Visit from the gender Fairy huh?! haha I remember when you guys had that same problem with Clover also.
So what's his new name? Or you keeping it Heidi?
Dwarf_Angel04 - October 7, 2007 09:47 PM (GMT)
That means you'll just have to get yourself a doe to go with Uhhm.. Heidi! :)

Clover was easier to take cause I was the one who did the sexing.
Heidi was sexed by a freaking ARBA judge!~
The kids can't agree on a name. I like Hider, Hank, Harvey, Herman, and a few others ......
Luke wants Buckley
Lexi doesn't want what Luke wants.
I've been calling him Heidi, Bunner, My big Bunnerboy.
Now we know why Bo hates him! LOL!
Lexi got some really cute photos today.. here's one right before we found out that the gender fairy had struck again!

How old was 'Heidi' when you got him?
The gender fairy arrives to even those with years of experience. <_<

We aren't sure. We got him August 18? I think and he was really little but little for a Palomino is..... relative LOL!
I would venture to guess he's 4 mos old now but when do large boys get their...... errr..... boys?!
Delphinum - October 9, 2007 07:52 PM (GMT)
I think it is around 3-4 months that they drop as they're mature by 6 months. My rabbit knowledge has really went by the wayside, so I may be wrong.
Aww I can't believe you have another boy! LOL it's just mental. :D

Tony! :thud:
Well, Pebbles is not getting along with Bebe at all. Both are getting to be Divas and won't give an inch to the other. There are poop wars, and peeing outside the litter boxes. I don't think Bebe has ever used the litter box for pee. But for sure, she can pee perfectly in her water bowl.
Maybe it's time to send Tony here to straighten out the two princesses. :innocent:
Bo B Bunny - October 10, 2007 12:08 AM (GMT)
Yep, gotta couple fighting boys and a wild girl! LOL!
I wish Pebbles would like Bebe. I wonder why she doesn't! She loves her bunny friend that visits!
Ang I forget all the time myself.
How are all of yours doing?
Delphinum - October 13, 2007 01:09 PM (GMT)
Ours are all fine and dandy. Henry bit me the other day. I put my hand in to put shavings in but he must've thought I'd come bearing food... and doesn't my arm look tasty. :P
Mostly they're behaving and just ticking over nicely. :)
