Aww! That squirrel looks very Happy! It looks like it is quite the brat!

Cinnabun - October 4, 2007 02:55 AM (GMT)
Oh he's sooo hyper! It's like he has ADHD. haha it's so cute! He can't sit still unless he is sleeping. even when he's eating. He's ALWAYS in motion. He's drinking Water now! :D

And he is a Brat! haha We ar elimiting the attention he gets now. He is now cut off from Taya. Taya isn't to happy about that though haha

Cinnabun - October 4, 2007 04:49 AM (GMT)
haha You'd have to fight my mom and I for him! haha. Just thinking about letting him go gets us teary eyed. haha

Bo B Bunny - October 4, 2007 10:40 AM (GMT)
I bet it does! Are you releasing him in your yard?

Cinnabun - October 4, 2007 04:42 PM (GMT)
Yup.

We are a little nervous about it though. For soem reason the Squirrel and Rabbit Population have been declining. Either someone is killing them, or that's the only one we can think of. His mom was killed. That's how we got him. So we are a little nervous about that. I'd rather just keep him, But it wouldn't be right. theres no reason to keep him. He's a healthy little boy who deserves to be in the wild were he's ment to be. We are playing with him very rough so he gets used to the other squirrels.. the very few that are here though.

I'm thinking about having a talk with the DNR about that. How they are just limited. There used to be about 3 Wild Rabbits in my yard.. a little baby, and two adults. None of them are around anymore.

The new dog behind me is a Huskey. and she Chases Squirrels, rabbits, and Birds. and She will actually catch them! So We are not gonna let him go till I know he's scared of dogs.

Yeah. We wish we coul let Clover loose in the wild but it's too late for her . 1. She would have a hard time getting around cause of her leg 2. I think she is just is too friendly with people andothe animals

But that means more bunnies for me!!! :hophop:

Cinnabun - October 5, 2007 03:48 AM (GMT)
yeah if he had a problem like Clover does, we wouldn't let him go either. but since he's healthy otherwise we will.

Does she still get that Wild rabbit instinct in her?

Bo B Bunny - October 8, 2007 03:36 AM (GMT)
Yes, but she's friendly to the dog! and she's just sort of ..... not so wild. Just enough to make me know she wouldn't survive - between that and her bad leg.

Yeah, I'm scared for Cuddles. We'll probably be letting him go this week. I'm really upset about it. Since Tomorrow marks teh 1 year since my Great Grandma passed. and I'm just not ready to let him go. but it'll be better for him I guess. he'll be able to come back whenever he wants to.

I didn't know how the rabbits would be like. if they were unable to return to the wild. It's nice that she doesn't get to crazy, and runs and hides.
