Title: Where is everyone?

becc_boland - September 18, 2007 10:28 AM (GMT)
I am so sad that everyone has disappeared :(
I check here daily and theres no news or anything :(

Dwarf_Angel04 - September 18, 2007 01:07 PM (GMT)
I also try to come on daily to see if there are any new happenings.

Life is just crazy busy around here and I don't realize it till posts like this appear. LOL! College and work take up a lot of my time in addition to squeezing in 4-H and managing an Ohio rabbit message board. In between all the activities time has to be found for the beaus who lives 2 hours away. Plus this weekend I am taking a road trip with my mom's first cousin to North Carolina. :)

Cinnabun - September 18, 2007 02:57 PM (GMT)
I've been busy with my baby... Squirrel that is. haha Oh I love him so much! he's just a doll! He opened his eyes a week ago! now they are so big! It's so cute!

I've also just haven't had the energy to get online. To much stuff going on here, that requires me to be thinking about it non stop. and than people pushing me. so I'm just kinda wanna AHHH right now. haha

becc_boland - September 19, 2007 09:45 AM (GMT)
Well I hope everyone is okay guys

Dwarf_Angel04 - September 20, 2007 01:09 PM (GMT)
Same here.

The parents are busy with their American Red Cross events. On Sunday, a big fire happened in our 'big city' (12,000 people) that claimed the lives of 4 children and the mother of one the children. At this point the investigation shows the fire was not a 'natural' fire so to say. <_<

HappyBunny - September 20, 2007 09:46 PM (GMT)
I've just been really busy with school and all the animals. My horse tried to rip my arm off the other day! <_<

Bo B Bunny - September 21, 2007 03:09 AM (GMT)
I wish I knew what to do to help the board, but it's just been so quiet.

Dwarf_Angel04 - September 21, 2007 03:33 AM (GMT)
You could put a demand on everyone to lead a life with a lower activity level. :)

Delphinum - September 21, 2007 02:08 PM (GMT)
I think that I'm partly to blame in that I've just felt too depressed to talk to anyone. Most days I only see Dan, when I'm signed into msn messenger I never talk, etc, etc.
Sorry, but I just don't want to lay all that on you guys so I'm better just to stay quiet.

Pet_Bunny - September 21, 2007 08:44 PM (GMT)
I have lots of things going on.
Pebbles has been sneezing since I had Spice and Reese at our place. We tried three different medications but the virus is resistant to them.
With the doctors recommendation, I had a culture done to see if we can find what is causing her sneezing.

Bebe was spayed last Tuesday. The operation was a success. The doctor said, being an older rabbit, she will need more time to recover. I will be giving her pain medicine for four days. At times she is active, but most of the times she prefers to lay quietly and sleep. She is drinking and nibbling on some foods, but I have being syringing her pumpkin. There is lots of pee, and a few poops, so give her a few more days to rest and she should be fine.

So with the two bunnies, I am giving medicine to Pebbles twice a day.
And with Bebe, she is getting medicine 4 times a day.
Lucky for me, the two are very good at syringes.

Work has being very busy. One guy is going back to school, so I've been training to take over his job, plus the work I normally do.
The boss must of felt bad, so he bought me a new van. :P
He has been promising me a new van for over a year. <_<

Ang, don't worry. I know it must be awful and your life will never be the same as it was.

Time will ease the pain a little or make it less noticable.

you're always welcome to talk to me - I'll listen and keep my mouth shut if you just need to say it, ya know?

I think about you all the time.... and of that sweet baby girl.

MyBabyBunnies - September 23, 2007 12:33 AM (GMT)
Life has just been crazy for me. Even though I wasn't working in August, I was away for a week and then my sister, her husband, and her 2 kids moved in with us and it was mayham. I was contending with a crying baby and toddler while attempting to keep up with my studying, not so easy. It was not a great start to the school year. To top it off, my brother-in-law was sick and I managed to avoid getting sick until this week. It's a really nasty cold too that lasts for weeks, makes breathing hard, and a lot of infections seem to go along with it. The problem is, the only day I could miss is Thursday, every other day is a day that I have labs and unless I'm on my death bed, I have no reason to miss labs.

I only have 3 classes with assignments due, but the assignments are challenging already, we spend hours together at school trying to work on them. On top of that, because I am in a co-op program (I have work experience as part of my course), I had to take an extra course and there are a few extra assignments that I've had. Luckily by October all those assignments will be done. I've also been busy preparing my resume and getting it reviewed and applying to jobs. But before I applied to jobs I was searching online to find the availability of housing and the cost, I wasn't about to apply for a job and then not be able to find a place to live!

Now the deadline passed and interviews start October 1st, eek!

And with all that, I have been cleaning my rabbit cages more often than I ever have in my life. I'm not really sure why but I can't stand to see a stray piece of hay or poo in their hutches (this seems to have picked up since August) so I clean cages daily and wash all their dishes daily. Their cages and supplies have never been cleaner but I'm not really sure why I am suddenly so clean. I was never messy before, but I never used to clean cages that much! Oh and as a side note, all 4 are litter trained now and it is making cleaning cages a breeze, YAY.

When I do have spare time, I tend to spend it on other forums because this one has been so dead. :(

P.S.- Delphinum, we understand that the forum isn't the first thing on your mind. We can't begin to truly express how sorry we are but we will be here when you are ready to come back. Just know that all of us miss you and keep you in our thoughts and prayers.

Bo B Bunny - September 24, 2007 03:06 AM (GMT)
Are the sis and family still living with you?

I have been busy too - cleaning up gigantic bunny poos! Heidi is going to poo bowling balls when she's full grown if this keeps up!

Dwarf_Angel04 - September 24, 2007 07:09 PM (GMT)
Seems like everyone holds a busy lifestyle!

I just returned from a trip to North Carolina and was supposed to get home last night. However, we had vehicle problems while on the interstate and I handled the situation very welll considering the circumstances and that it was 1:30 in the morning!

Right now, once again my brother and his friends are having extra bonding time. A guy my brother plays basketball with for the school was in a BAD accident on Saturday night after he feel asleep at the wheel. My brother also plays basketball and works with the kid's best friend and small town news travels fast. So there are many rumors coming through the grocery story where they work at and little do the customers know they are giving the 'rumors' to his best friend. But the KIDS are putting together a candle visual tonight.

That's the scoop here.

Amanda

Dwarf_Angel04 - September 28, 2007 09:16 PM (GMT)
So Amanda, How is the Squirrel?

For a little less then 24 hours, I've had a kitten in my care. The mother was trying to kill the kitten that was born on Wednesday. So I am up every 2 hours around the clock feeding a 2 day old kitten that is full of life and potential! Life just got a lot busier then normal!

Cinnabun - September 29, 2007 03:59 AM (GMT)
He's doing grrreat! FULL of engery 24/7 we are tryign not to play with him to much. but we just can't help it! he'll hang on the cage and watch us wanting to play.

I'll post a picture of him!

Aww that's sad bout the kitty, I bet your gonna keep it right? haha

I couldn't Imagen getting up every 2. I'd just stay awake than. haha

Heres a picture of Cuddles, I think we are gonna change his name to Peanut cause we are always calling him that. haha

I have SO many on my phone, though. haha

I wish we could keep cuddles. But it wouldn't be right, He's a wild animal and deserves his chance out in the wild. But he can come back whenever he wants to.

Dwarf_Angel04 - September 29, 2007 07:21 PM (GMT)
What a cutie!!!

I don't have a photo of the kitten yet (It's not allowed to be named until it's eyes open, my rule! LOL!) But it's a yellow tabby and right now we are battling a case of diarrhea due to a change of formula. So it's on a pedialite supplement right now and is back on the orginal formula. So if we can over come this delima then we seem to be set.

Last night I got up every feeding to show my mother how to feed the kitten. So hopefully tonight, I will get to sleep! The last time I had 'sleep' was Wednesday night as since then I've managed to have about 6 hours of sleep and that's with working a 11 hour shift.

I must say if this kitten pulls through, it will be one VERY spoiled cat!

Cinnabun - September 29, 2007 08:27 PM (GMT)
Yeah He's pretty much has his balance now, Sitting up to eat, we set up something in his pen for him to climb on, and actually it's really helping him with his balance! So that's awesome! It's rainy and Yucky today so we wont be going outside. There's a deadline on when he can be let go. and that's November 1st. so hopefully he'll be ready by then. we aren't feeding him the milk that much anymore. Only when he's going crazy for it.

He's yellow?! Does that turn to Orange when he gets older? Oh I can't wait to see pictures of him! I'm sure he'll make it. We wern't sure of Cuddles when i first picked him up cause he wouldn't move. but now he's CRAZY! haha Always wanting attention.

Oh i bet he's gonna be super Spoiled. haha I want a cat that I raise like that than I probably wouldn't be so scared of them. haha

Cinnabun - October 2, 2007 10:23 PM (GMT)
uhhh.... no?? haha I'm lost. haha

HappyBunny - October 4, 2007 12:29 AM (GMT)
Oh woops! I am so lost myself! A friend had bunny named peanut and it passed away recently. :( Sorry.lol

Cinnabun - October 4, 2007 02:56 AM (GMT)
haha It's okay.

Aww that's so sad that he passed away. :(

Bo B Bunny - October 4, 2007 04:25 AM (GMT)
I guess we just don't have a whole lot to say? or something.

I'm busy cleaning up after kids and bunnies! and a dog who sheds black hair all day and night! <_<

I want to see the kitty!

I want the babyCuddles!

Peanut was m.e.'s/Emily's peanut - the one with head tilt this past year. I was so sad to hear about it. She hasn't been here in awhile.

Cinnabun - October 4, 2007 04:52 AM (GMT)
Awww she died?! But I thought she was doing so well!?

Bo B Bunny - October 4, 2007 10:39 AM (GMT)
She was and then she actually got her head straight again - then got real sick. Emily had to put her down because she was so bad.

I always loved that bunny.

Delphinum - October 4, 2007 11:50 AM (GMT)
Aww that's such a shame. Peanut was adorable. :(

Cinnabun - October 4, 2007 04:43 PM (GMT)
that's so sad. How is Rex doing? I remember Rex and Peanut were sooo close.

Bo B Bunny - October 5, 2007 09:45 AM (GMT)
I think Rex is ok. He was so supportive of her, I know. When she first got tilt, do you remember, she said he would lean agaist Peanut to literally support her so she wouldn't roll?!

Animals amaze me.

Cinnabun - October 6, 2007 01:41 AM (GMT)
Yeah I remember that. They were so cute together. Does she have any plans on getting a Friend for Rex so he doesn't get to depressed?

Bo B Bunny - October 8, 2007 03:25 AM (GMT)
I'm not sure really. I was so sad to hear about Peanut. I didn't even think to ask.

Cinnabun - October 8, 2007 04:40 AM (GMT)
Yeah, It's really sad about that.
