Hello, I'm Christina aka Missyscove.
At this point I'm a RO refugee. I heard about this forum there and decided to check it out.
I have 2 bunnies. Fiona is a spayed black dutch we got last August 4th. Timmy is a neutered fawn rex/dutch (we think) mix we got last October 1. I also have 2 golden retrievers: Missy and Shadow who just turned 11 and a 20 gallon tropical fish tank.
I'm an almost-17 year old high school junior. I live in Los Angeles, CA. I'm an avid reader, an altar server, an animal shelter volunteer, an (I think) excellent student and a great bunny slave.
I'm currently doing the classes to become scuba certified and I'm going on a scuba trip in one week, before I go to Cornell summer college for 6 weeks. Don't worry, my mom will be spoiling all of my animals.

I was also from there... a LOOOOOOOOOONG time ago. before it is the way that it is now. but anyway!

I used to have a golden also. but she was a Mix with a black lab. Ended up having to put her to sleep because the vet made her bleed non stop from her ear. We were ALWAYS the same age. Her and I were 12 when we put her to sleep. She was my first pet. I loved her so much! Her name was Goldie...

I also had a rabbit named Missey.. Spelt Differently though. As you can see shes the one in my sig. she died 2 years ago.. miss her like crazy.

Ohh, you're taking scuba lessons. I tried it a few times, but that was only in a swimming pool. We are land locked, so the only close places to go scuba diving would be some lakes around here.
Where are you going? Do you have a friend as a buddy?

I'm really excited about the scuba. My dad, brother, and I had always planned to get certified together... until the two of them did it with out me. They'll be my dive buddies. A week from today we're going to Grand Cayman for diving.

Welcome to Rabbitworld!

All your pets are adorable. I used to have a golden that looked like your dog Shadow. Unfortunately, we had to put him to sleep a couple of years ago at age 16. He was such a good boy! I miss him alot.

Right now we just have a very spoiled house rabbit named Ellie. She is a 3 yr. old Holland Lop and has taken over our family room...literally. I was watching TV last night and she was sleeping on the recliner <_<

Back away from the bunny. I may look scrawny, but I can fight you off. Not to mention Fiona would miss him.

Thanks again for the welcome. Scuba diving went great. I did my 4 open water dives to be certified and then I did a night dive. On the night dive we saw a huge sea turtle sleeping under a ledge. The instructor said it was the biggest one he had ever seen. It was truly exciting.
Now I'm at my summer program. Classes start tomorrow and I have a roommate from Italy. We had some trouble getting here (lost baggage, missed flights and spending the night in NY's JFK airport for a start) but I'm here now, right.

Thank you. It was weird because it didn't really feel like my birthday... I'd already celebrated it at home and I'd only been at Summer College for like 3 days so... let's just say my number of friends was low...
I still got a card and presents from people I'd known for a whole 3 days!
