Title: Rock A Bye......
Bo B Bunny - February 18, 2007 11:52 AM (GMT)
Lately, I've noticed Bo digging on me and acting pretty angry when I get him out and I sit down in the recliner. I wasn't sure why but then I noticed it more when I would stop - ROCKING HIM!!
He likes to be held and rocked - no lie! I had a cat that loved being rocked. She had a towel she drug around with her and she'd bring it and hop in my lap to be rocked.
It sounds crazy but he lays down and actually falls asleep if I cover him up with a blankie and rock softly.
He's so spoiled, I'm really not suprised~

awww....that is so sweet.
I wish Ellie would let me sit and hold her, but she's too antsy. If I'm standing up and I hold her like a baby and rock back and forth with her she will fall asleep. She would let me rock her like that till my legs fell off. But as soon as I sit down, she is gone.
The only time she has ever let me sit and hold her was when we drove back and forth to the Animal Hospital last month. I was in such a hurry to get her there, I didn't even think about taking her carrier! :)

Awww! I can't believe they like being rocked! I'd have never thought of rabbits enjoying that. Guess we learn something new from them all the time!
We'll try to get a photo of Bo when he's being rocked. It's so cute cause he only has his nose out of the blankie.

awwh, SO cute. I wish one of my bunnies would let me rock them. I have a feeling Pumpkin might, but I'm not sure. I used to be able to do that kinda stuff with Summer, but lately he's been really angry with me. Sometimes when he's out, we used to nuzzle noses. So when he came over to my face I went to nuzzle him, and he bit me. I was more surprised, than mad...then disappointed. Hmmmm... not sure what's going on.

Bo's done the same thing - the other day he bit me hard. I know it was because I had a peppermint in my mouth. he's really funny about strong smells.
Bo's really moody - he's going to be 3 soon - how old is Summer?

Maybe their age is causing it? Bo hadn't been feeling great - he was all molty, and grumpy cause he hadn't had a lot of play time. I hope We've fixed that.

yea..I'm trying to butter Summer up a bit. Lots of treats, and love. He's not so... vicious anymore, but he really got into it with Riley (his son). - Which is weird, because they used to be the best of friends.

Pebbles will be three in June.
She loves being held. She will sit on your lap or in your arms until YOU get tire of holding her. At times I start falling asleep on her, she will jump up and start digging at me. "WAKE UP SLAVE AND PET ME!" :worthy:

Ha! Sounds like Bo. If you quit petting him or rocking him!
We spoil these bunners! I love it tho. I love having him lay his head on my shoulder and relax.
We've also noticed him doing a lot more "rolly" flops lately. And today...... I got to see it for the first time since he was a baby........ it was...... A DEAD BUNNY FLOP!!!!!!!!! closed eyes and all!
I think he likes his pink blankie.

Yeah, we ALWAYS gave Bo treats. Every time we walked by his cage he stuck gis nose out begging for treats!!! Of course he got his way...............That is why he is fat. Clover has learned well from him <_<
Bo B Bunny - March 1, 2007 09:11 AM (GMT)
He's not fat...... he's..... big boned!
nova_bun - March 3, 2007 06:50 PM (GMT)
lol, Same with Summer. "big boned". Hehe. I swear half of it is the 10 pounds of fur he's carrying though.

I'm really jealous, neither cleo nor lily are friendly enough to cuddle much. Lily's more so than Cleo, she'll just sit there while you pat her!
