Title: ANGRY!!!
Description: Do you have a pic?
Bo B Bunny - February 8, 2007 04:06 PM (GMT)
Hi all!
Lexi is doing a project for school on rabbits and how they react to different animals' scents (familiar, strange and predator)
I am creating a page somewhat like the language of lagomorphs for her - but very condensed for the project.
I really need a picture of a REAL mad bunny - one that's obviously ramming/charging.
This is only for this school science project, but if you wouldn't mind me using it I would appreciate anyone (or all) who can post one. I am putting examples by each thing. From just being happy and flopped to scenting things with their chin to being ready to bite. Thanks so much!

haha You know PB gots lots of Pebbles yawning that looks like shes ready to bite his camera. haha
Goodluck! It sounds like its gonna be an awesome ProjecT!!

No mad, ramming, charging bunny in Pebbles.

She will only run up to you and lick you to death. :P

Maybe this can present anger, when their ears are perked up.

Here is an angry bunny expression, being coped in a cage.
Are my pictures too big? Smaller pictures lose alot of detail.

Those are great but I need one of a bunny ready to charge or bite or both.
I think I might have to use a pebbles really offended tho - that first one is just too cute! Thank you thank you!
Do you have any that do look like she's biting or going to bite only I know she's yawning? It might be a good thing to show those lovely bunner teeth! LOL

I was trying to get some posed pics of this doe today, and she wasn't attacking me, but she was peeved! I think this is the rabbit equivalent of the middle finger. :haha:

These are all GREAT! Thank you so much!
PB I knew there were some photos that made her look kinda mad if you didn't know her better! LOL - we know she's a sweetie that yawns a lot LOL!
DA - I love the cat and dh pic! It's exactly what her project is about - how they react to scent and if they "know" the predator will they react differently - and we found really they do. We'll DEFINITELY use this!
and Wooligans - omg I nearly laughed really loud (and it's the middle of the night - I have a cold and couldn't breath so I got up) - I might have waken the household! That girl truly is giving you her version of "the bird!" - Perfect!
Besides the educational value of the paper - the kids will get a big kick out of these pictures!

I've got more photos of Mars and Jewel in their interactions. I'll dig them up real fast and post more.

I kept trying to push her head down in the English Lop pose but she was being a snob and putting it back up

The "touch me and I'll claw you" look

Not really grumpy just yawning but you could pretend she's grumpy

Now this is a grumpy pic haha

These are all GREAT pics. Lexi definitely can use the pics of the cat and bun, DA. The biggest point in her project is that they don't fear familiar smells of even what would be predatory animals. Bo was our test subject and he definitely HATED strange cat smells! She's going to point out the unlikely friendships of cats and rabbits, etc.
I want the naughty English Lop! She's beautiful!
I love the dutch - what attitude! LOL!
Thank you also, Rabbitrae - I will definitely be using those also!
You are all the best! I'll be able to finish the brochure and help her finish her project this week. She'll be so pleased with it. She was already excited about having different bunnies on the brochure thing - especially since they own people we know :) ;)

If you for some reason need pictures of newborn kits, I've got a LOAD of photos from newborn to like 3 weeks of age.
If you need anymore photos just pass the request on!
Also, I'd LOVE to see the finished product! :)

THANKS!
I will definitely get some photos of the actual project and I will post the brochure on here. Like I said - it's not a detailed thing - but a reference that even children can "get" the idea of their language.
We are still a bit shocked that Bo was very dominant over our bird - but she is a dove and not a predatory bird. She's also familiar and in "his" room LOL!
