Pebbles is a Netherland Dwarf. She is about 2 1/2 years old.

If you let her, she will give you bunny kisses.

This picture was taken in Nov/2005.
2 years ago, my wife wanted the orange bunny in the background, but the breeder didn't want to part with him.

This is the same bunny, 2 weeks ago (Feb/2007), at a local Rabbit Show.

Pebbles is always so cute :) what kind of camera do you have?

rabbitrae - March 4, 2007 07:39 PM (GMT)
Did you get the bunny after all? :) It's really cute!

Bo B Bunny - March 4, 2007 08:31 PM (GMT)
What a cute lop! he's a holland isn't he?

Did you snag him? :sneak:

Pet_Bunny - March 5, 2007 09:40 PM (GMT)
Yes he is a Holland Lop. And no we didn't snap him up. :(
We would of taken him when we first saw him 2 years ago, but he was Not For Sale.
My wife's priority has changed now that we have a dog (Desmond).
MBB mentioned someone bought him at the show, but it could of been the other orange Holland that was cheaper in price ($40 vs $60).

Most likely I won't get a bunny, unless I can convince my wife, there is a real life and death bunny that needs to be rescued,
not just some bunny needing to be rehomed. But I can wish.

MBLM - I have the Nikon D200 which I had for a year now. I just got a new lense (Dec/2006). It is one of Nikon's most expensive lense.
Everyone thinks I'm a Professional Photogragher now. :P
Here is some pictures of the Edmonton Oilers I took yesterday with the new lense. :camera: :camera:

Kismet - March 25, 2007 07:24 AM (GMT)
I love the new lense...those pics of the Oilers are great, especially the first and the one down the table. Your pics keep getting better and better - looks like something out of Time magazine

Weighed her today. 1.285 Kg. (2 lbs. 13 oz.)
She will be 3 years old in June.

Bo B Bunny - April 29, 2007 07:41 AM (GMT)
She is absolutely precious! Her face seems to really express her personality in so many photos! She looks so serious about her hopping sometimes!

Bo will be 3 soon. We gave him a birthday since we didn't know it for sure. May 30th since it's in the month of Luke's birthday, It's Lexi's "half" birthday, and close enough to when he would have really been born! Seems several of us got our little furballs that year!

Great pictures of precious Pebbles! I love the molt line across the top of her nose....it looks like she stuck it in a glass or something!

Ellie seems really scared about being outside this year....she doesn't even hop in the grass anymore. It's more like a slinky crawl. Yesterday she just sat on my feet and wouldn't move. <_<

Ellie will be 3 in July this year too!

Pet_Bunny - April 30, 2007 11:59 PM (GMT)
I can't figure the molt line on her nose either. I think she was pushing her nose though the NIC panels. :P

Pebbles loves to be outside.
As soon as I put her down, she'll flick her feet and run a fast circle around the yard.
Then she'll come back, to give me a kiss.

Our cereal is called Coco Puffs. ;)

We have Cocoa PUffs also but the flinstones have a whole line of "Pebbles" cereal.

:)

The last 2 weeks Pebbles was under medication for a mid-ear infection and wasn't eating and pooping properly. I was syringing her antibotics twice a day for the ear infection which was causing her to have some head tilt problems. And the last 5 days I gave her Fastrack to restore the eymzines in her stomach. She is fine now!

The problem started when Cocoa (her bunny friend we bunnysat) went home. It was the stress of that causing Pebbles to moult and feel poorly. It lead her to stop eating and not pooping.

This picture shows the foods she wouldn't touch. You can see there was her pellets, yogurt, pumpkin, and hay. The only way for her to eat, was for me to hold something in front of her mouth. I even got Critical-Care just in case, I needed it.

user posted image
The next picture shows in her weakened state, the mid-ear infection flared up. This caused a head tilt like symtoms which made Pebbles very inactive. She did not want to run or binkie like she normally does. All she wanted to do was lay down in her run. You could see her head slighty tilted. There was little poops(very small in size) or no poops at all.

Pet_Bunny - June 13, 2007 02:53 AM (GMT)
It was a long week-end, so the vets were closed. To go to the emergency hospital, it costs $85 just to bring an animal in. It would of cost $149 if it was after midnight. And you weren't sure if a rabbit-savy person would be in.
However Pebbles didn't reach a critical stage for me to bring her in for an emergency check-up.

So Tuesday morning after the long week-end, I phone my regular vet and made an appointment to bring Pebbles in. I never have problems getting her in on the same day.

Here is Pebbles at the Vets office. She was abit nervous after the car ride.
