OK this is the 3rd winter we've had Ellie and she pretty much has always avoided the fireplace, other than to sit on the brick hearth in the summer. This year is different! Now she is laying all sprawled out right in the front of the blazing fire! She will lay there for quite awhile, facing the fire, then she turns around to cook the other side! Her fur is all full of electricity from the dryness...it's hysterical!

I thought bunnies wanted to be cold??

I have the camera on the table next to me....we're gonna have a fire again tonight, so I'm ready to take pictures! I hope she will cooperate.

It's kinda funny seeing this, since I noticed how Bo has changed a bit this year about some things..... he's recently decided that laying his head sideways instead of straight is much more comfy on my shoulder.... he actually will fall sound asleep on me now. :lurve:

I want those pictures of Ellie! I can't wait to see her roasting herself near an open fire.. :lol:

I didn't forget about taking the pictures....it's just that it's been in the 50's here the past few days. If we had a fire in the fireplace I'd have to open all the windows! :D

Today was warm for us .... 32 °F / 0 °C .... <_<
We will be getting colder temps by the weekend, and maybe some more snow.
