Ok, here's the new issue. Bo has something under each eye. It's like a little white pimple thing and I've never noticed them before but they are bilateral and identical. Is this some kind of gland? or something? or should I be worried?

They are small like a pen tip but it's white and sort of hard. He's molting and I was rubbing his face - he's getting new hair but that side is really thin right now so I felt it. I had to work to find the other one on his other side......

well i took my life in my hands (at least my hands in my hands) and checked out dill, and if you mean under the eyes but back up closer to the ears, i think dill has them too. (he was sleepy and quite enjoyed the face rub, so he thanks you for that). ;) he wasn't in his nippy mood so all my body parts are intact. all is well. :)

My real worry was if it was his teeth and he had problems - but Bo really hasn't had trouble eating.... <_< so I wasn't too concerned - I hate finding things on the bunnies!!!

They're happy today cause they got fresh papaya sticks (dried papaya from Wild Oats) - I cut a tiny strip each day for them - Clover had never had the dried kind - just the tablets...... she's in heaven!!!!

I'm glad that Dill got face rubs out of this deal! :lol: Bo has gotten groomed well a few times! He's a sucker for that!

it's a lil spot a whisker grows in, but being the rex he is you often don' t see them curly whiskers.and since he's molting they prob fell out too ;-)

I felt something i though odd when checking over one my buns till i checked everyone and found them all the same, there is one area in the vertabrea that the space is bigger than the others. but since all my buns have it i know it's normal:-P

Thanks! I was wondering if that's what it was. He's been molting heavy and he loves for me to help get those hairs on his face off. He just lays there and falls asleep while I gently rub and they come out. Boy! mini-rex sure do molt!!! He molts really good like this about once a year and this year I helped him so it's more noticeable.

Clover has molted for months...... she has these weird circles of longer hair on her hips....... I brush her but they don't thin very much. I assume it's where she's so young.

I know what you mean, Nepo hasn't stopped molting all year!

Does he go through heavy ones and then light ones all through the year? Bo tends to have a real heavy one from sometime in the Fall, but the weather has really done a number on him - cold then hot LOL!

He's actually mostly hairy now. :P He has a couple of "short" areas but he's nearly back to normal! I'm so glad cause I missed snuggling my face into his side LOL! He looks at me like I'm crazy sometimes but I love rubbing my cheek against his fur. He likes the kisses on his cheek he gets for it too!
