Hi all - It's sure funny to have a second bunny cause I have no clue as to what she's doing sometimes......

Could you tell me what a honk/grunt sounds like? It seems Cloverbunny's coughing (I was so worried about the past few weeks!) might be a call for food. <_<

It can sound like a cough though so until you see her when she does it it'll be hard to tell.

I'm sure someone else will probably be able to do better. :unsure:

Pebbles has become very vocal.
There are many different sounds she makes, especially when she is running.
From a honking sound, to a sqeaking noise, a throat type sound, grunts, buzzing, a cheaping (chirp) sound.

The honk sound is different from the grunting sound, but it is hard to describe them. If only we could learn their language, we could understand what they are trying to tell us. ;)
She has hiccups and sneezes too.

It's hard to describe a grunting sound in words. When Ellie grunts it almost sounds like a human does when they clear their throat.....rrrrrmmmphhhh. It's very short, and usually followed by a loud THUMP! <_<

Other than the foot thumps and an occasional grunt of displeasure Ellie is pretty quiet. I've never heard any squeaking, chirping or buzzing sounds like PB described. Of course, when you spend 3/4 of your life meatloafing under a foot stool, how noisy can you be? :lol: I'm actually surprised I don't hear more snoring!! :shh:

I'd love to hear all the bunnies vocalizing!!!

I do think she's grunting! It's almost always when she's sitting around looking at one of us or we walk by her cage. She just did this to Luke and it was for fresh water I think! :lol:

It sounds a little different sometimes but it's close to the same all the time. I would say it sounds like a little kid who's ticked off and sort of huffs at their parent with a little bit of a cough sound. She's a brat LOL!
