Hey!

It's been a very long time since I've last posted, and I figure there would be no better way to come back then to post a picture.

Since Shamus passed away in June I kept telling myself that I did not want another horse, but its actually been harder without one. So after a few months of just looking I decided to adopt another horse from my hack barn.

Oscar is a 13 year old Appaloosa who stands about 14'3hh. I'm boarding him about thirty minutes away from my home, and he is loving life being a pet!

Here's a picture take about five years ago when he first came to the hack barn, and yes he is green since it was Halloween, and he was suppose to be Oscar the Grouch, lol! Enjoy!



I'm hoping to get more recent pictures tomorrow when I go and see him. His tail is A LOT longer now, and he is much more frosted. :)

Sometimes it's hard to accept another animal when you still feel so bad from the loss of one. I'm happy you have gotten to the point where you can have Oscar. I truly believe animals are good for us. I find so much peace when I spend time with the horses, dogs, cats, bunnies, etc......
