Title: 06 ARBA Convention

Dwarf_Angel04 - October 29, 2006 07:02 PM (GMT)
I'll be recieving updates from Texas every so often.

It hasn't been confirmed yet, but it appears that the 2008 ARBA Convention may be held in Kentucky. :D

Dwarf_Angel04 - October 29, 2006 08:26 PM (GMT)
I just recieved an email from a Texas source stating that the 2008 ARBA Convention IS in Louisville, Kentucky!

Bo B Bunny - October 31, 2006 12:41 AM (GMT)
I thought you were going to Texas this year???

Looks like I'll be in Louisville for a long time in 2008. The North American is right after ARBA. :P

Love4Lops - October 31, 2006 01:22 AM (GMT)
Cool! :) Not too far, but I doubt I will go. I've been to Louisville once when my family and I went to Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom, and it's a sort of long drive if I'm just going to look at the show.

Dwarf_Angel04 - October 31, 2006 01:26 AM (GMT)
Those were the intentions after ARBA Convention last year. However, Michigan is next year and I decided I'd rather go there then to Texas. Plus I've been slacking majorily in the breeding department so had nothing to take to Texas. Had I gone to Texas I would of had a place to stay and a car to drive had I flown but I'm not into shipping animals unless if I HAVE to. ;)

Rumor has that Indy is thinking about bidding in 2010 again! That seems so far away tho.....

So within 4 years 3 of the conventions will be held in the same area of the country. It's a down fall to those on the west coast. However, it's been proven that the convention numbers are higher when located in the 'Ohio Valley' which makes scense as we are the 'prime' area for raising rabbits.

I might not be in Texas but I'm getting updates from a friend in Texas. Well, not directly from him, but his mother is getting on and giving updates from his nightly phone calls to her. :D

Looks like you've got a 'goal' year to get that farm. :P

Dwarf_Angel04 - November 4, 2006 04:54 AM (GMT)
Well, it's not actually on my computer. I've got a load of CD's and I'm changing the way I store them. So I might find the picture while checking CD's. I'll look one more place before resulting to that. ;)

Cinnabun - November 4, 2006 07:41 PM (GMT)

Dwarf_Angel04 - November 4, 2006 07:49 PM (GMT)

Dwarf_Angel04 - November 6, 2006 02:19 AM (GMT)
20 CD's left and haven't found it yet!! :doubleraar:

Lesson to all: Label your CD's....properly! Don't label them 'backup' and leave it at that LOL!

Nope.... I haven't finished going through that stack of CD's. College, Work and being a manager on another rabbit message board keep me hopping! I should be able to look through them be the end of the month. As soon as I'm done with college work, my aunt arrives into town from Massachuetts for a week for the once a year visit. ;)

Wow! Thanks for calling that a Blanc de Hotot! Many people are still calling them Hotots which is my pet peeve LOL! I've got a breed that can't be shortened name wise. Netherland Dwarfs are commonly shortened to Dwarfs and Blanc de Hotots to Hotots.

Cinnabun - November 16, 2006 04:43 AM (GMT)
Are those the Larger Breed??

Yes he was quite large, and still a junior buck.
His male parts just dropped a few days before the show.

Yes :)

Dwarf Hotots ideal weight for both bucks and does is 2 1/2 pounds.

Blanc de Hotot's ideal weight for a buck is 9 pounds and for a doe it's 10 pounds.
