Title: I Swear I Feed Them!
MyBabyBunnies - October 17, 2006 10:05 PM (GMT)
I thought I'd share a little story of Zoey from last night that I found quite entertaining.
Last night I was outside and was trying to clean Moch and Zoey's cage (they are filthy bunnies). So I was reaching in the cage. I forgot that I had dried papaya in my pocket but apparently Zoey could smell it. She managed to stick half of her body in my pocket just to get a piece of papaya. I mean her whole head and front feet could not be seen. And when she got a piece, did she leave my pocket? NO! She stayed in it trying to get the other pieces too! I had to pull her out of my pocket (very hard task) and she had 3 pieces of papaya gripped between her teeth!
Now you try telling your family that you really do feed them after they do that!

Are those twigs like little long colorful crispy things? We had pretzel shaped ones and now have the twigs and OMG if you say "wanna twig?" to either bunny they flip out! They love them!
MBB, Zoey's a little piggy :)
She likes her paya!

I say the same thing Happy Bunny. My family is always accusing me of making Ellie fat....but I tell them she's just "fluffy" :)
BO....yes, Tasty Twigs are those colored sticks...Ellie LOVES the pretzel shaped ones!

Oh boy! The boys love PWETZELS! and TWIGS! I couldn't believe how they went for them the first time I got them. Clover will come up to you for them!
Pig hates them tho. Isn't that weird?
My boys need some new ones - gotta go to the petstore today!

 @ Zoey! :P
What a cutie...
I've never given either bunny papaya tablets. I saw some at a store recently but I forget where. Are they nutritional? I'm trying not to give them fattening snacks.
Emma is really good about taking treats gently and not going ballistic when you put a bowl of pellets in his cage. SB, however, well I have to hold him back with one hand while I put the bowl in with the other because he pounces on the bowl immediately. Also, when I give him craisins through the cage, he bats at the bars with his paws until I give him more. <_<

LOL! Those noses aren't twitching just to look cute!
Yesterday Dill (LOL! I almost said Bo!) caught a whiff of a banana at 20 paces and came barreling out of his hay box, slammed into the cat and never even broke stride. Little 2lb Dill sent the 10lb kitty flying. She landed flat on her back and was scrambling to get up while looking around for the bus that hit her!
Would have loved to have seen a 'bunny in a pocket' pic. You need to install a bunny cam. ;)

Isn't it amazing how most bunnies can smell bananas from several yards? I swear Bo can hear me pick one off the bunch and he's hopping around his cage like a jumping bean!
I can't believe little Dill slammed the kitty! Sorry kitty, it's just I can picture this in my mind! "BUNNY ATTACKS CAT" :evilbun:

OMG That's so cute - "hmmm let me see here, I know there's some goodies in this pocket if I can just get my nose in there far enough I'll find them...... "
