I didn't show any animals this year, not even in open! But I want to brag on my 4-H kids!

Friday- Royalty Contest
Rabbit King was from my club

Saturday- 4-H Show
Numerous BOB's and Best 4 Class was awarded to a member in our club

Sunday- Showmanship
5 kids won their showmanship class and the winner of the rabbit showmanship was a gal from my club

Monday- Jr. Fairboard elections
Kid from my club won---same one as the Rabbit King

Tuesday- Skill-a-thon
Like 3 or 4 kids won their class

Wednesday- Open Show
Numerous BOB's and one kid won Best 4 Class and Best In Show

Thursday- Showman of Showman
Girl I persuaded into participating was tied for 5th! She won the Dairy Cattle portion and 2nd in Dogs.

My kids had a great year and I'm proud of every single one of them! :D

Very good! I bet it's still fun watching all "your" kids working with their rabbits and doing so well!

Yes...my 'kids' are my friends so it makes it all the better! I loved the role I played this past week! I sat around and hung out with my friends/kids butwhen things got serious I gained the advisor role. I was told so many times through the week that they loved having an advisor that was more of a friend then a parental figure. I'll say..walking through the barn people couldn't tell I was an advisor till I had my pin on as I made myself one with the kids. It's nice for them to have that kind of aspect...knowing their advisor is their friend and I had so many kids come up to me first and I had to go relay messages to other advisors.

Our fair gives each of the clubs so many 'Grand Champion Kid' pins to pass out to the kids that did well at fair as far as sportsmanship. I came out directly and told the fellow advisors that I was not going to participate in the picking out ordeal as I didn't feel right doing so.

But yes... I  my 4-H kids/friends and am ever so proud of their accomplishments!
