Title: Just about died laughing...

Delphinum - July 4, 2006 04:42 PM (GMT)
I let Gaspode out for a little while just there. It's been too hot to let them out as our garden gets sunshine for most of the day but it started to shade a bit so I let her run around and have a little chomp on the weeds and grass.
Rolo, as usual, was trotting around sniffing... i.e. looking to see if he could lick anything out of the holes in the compost bin!
When Gaspode was a kit, Rolo was her best friend. He'd follow her everywhere waiting for tiny poops to come out for him to eat! (Rolo loves bunnies, I remember one time I caught him lovingly licking Boycie's head .  )
So anyway... He saw her sitting eating the clover and bounces up to her, playful stance and dashes away. SHE RUNS AFTER HIM THEN BINKIES ABOUT ALL OVER THE PLACE!!! :o  I've never seen her so happy! So for about 5 minutes, the pair of them went ripping round the garden chasing and being chased by one another. Gaspode binkying then charging at him and Rolo dancing away, ears back, tongue lolling all over the place.
Rolo thought this was fantastic and was sprinting round like a greyhound! It was just so funny!
I wish I had photos, but my camera was up by the computer at the time. Next time they're out (tomorrow if it's not too hot), I'm definately going to take the camera with me. :happybun:
Don't you just love it when they're so happy!

It sounds like they love each other a lot. I think they love being with each other. The story was great, but it was probably more fun seeing it in person. Right?

When any rabbit of my own does binkies or starts to do unusual rabbit stuff, I think of them dancing as to like dancing to Dance Dance the song. I forget who sings it though! LOL. Brain not really working right now, though its fun working on the computer on the internet more than doing boring things called cleaning your house. ERRRRRRRRRRR

I wish I could have seen them! It sounds like 2 old friends were having a wonderful time!

Is it warm over there now? it's been horribly hot here.... 95° and very humid. I hide in the A/C lol!

We had 38*C a couple of days ago, it's been boiling for the last week and we expect thunderstorms today. London looked really dark on TV this morning so it'll be heading up our way soon.
I wish we had A/C! It's just been so hot and the dogs can't even come out in the car like they usually do because it's just too dangerous to leave them in there. :( My A/C is broken on the car too  so I'm going to have to take it in to be fixed. No doubt, after it's fixed, the weather will go back to being freezing again!

WOW! That's about 100° F (38° C)...... You're having weather like we have.

Is it humid?

Ouch!

I saw it on TV, the London News and they showed people were still sunbathing in the heat.

Our present heatwave is 32*C (90*F) but that is new record for us.
Yes we are Eskimos living in igloos. :P

[B][FONT=Courier][SIZE=7][COLOR=gray]I live on the Cape in Massachusetts, so it is only warm out with humidity though. The humidity makes it worse. Usually the rabbits I have, are lounging around with a fan on. 18" High Velocity Fan. I don't put it up on 3/High because I got litters.

The 90 degrees to 100 sounds horrible to the rabbits. You are lucky to have AC. :cold: I don't have it. Got too big of a house. Would take up a lot of money, so we have fans that are high up and can go close to you. Windows, sliders and doors are always open.

I'm happy I don't live down near the hot areas. My rabbits would be swelling in the heat, especially the french lops and english lops. They would get arritated and lunge at me. I would become a sloth. Defiantely not use to the hot weather. Even if I went to beach, I still wouldn't go under, eyes are very sensative to the salt water-start to get arritated and hurt, sting and even start to turn cloudy vision! :( :evilbun: :evilbun:

Keep those rabbits cool. :tiny:
