Just thought I should post, I had advertised that my Flemish Giant babies were ready to go and got a weird email back in response about someone looking to replace animals lost in a fire for their child.  They kept asking odd questions, have my rabbits been around dogs being the most pressing one.  (They have, we have an Irish Wolfhound/ Rott cross who earned her kibble this week)  These folks wanted to know when I would be home for them to come look at buns and then showed up at a time when I wouldnt be at home and tried to unload the barn.  Luckily they werent armed and my dog got up to see what the commotion was about, or so my neighbors have told me laughing about how fast they ran.  I didn't save the email, have been digging for it like crazy so I could let others know but the emails were on the odd side, no capitalization or punctuation, all in a larger font and with little information.

That is horrible!! My rabbits arent even locked up!! That is really scary... (leaves the house to buy locks ;) ) When we move into the new house I am hoping to get a "shed" up for the rabbits and maybe be aloud to start breeding again!! Wouldn't that be great.. And I would have locks!!

that scary. when we had our first rabbit we kept her outside in a hutch, and one day when we had our Dane he was barking like crazy and growling i thought this was weird since he was an older inactive Dane so we looked out side and someone had hoped our 4foot fence and tryed to take our rabbit. we let Bullitt out and they were gone, Bullitt went to make sure she was ok and since then we have kepted our rabbits inside.

its so werid how anyone will steal rabbits like that.. okay GC i can see. i didnt even knwo they would do that with pets as well... makes me wann keep Cinn inside now.. but theres no way they can get to her.. i'm surrounded by dogs.. esp two ST Bernards Rott mix. and my dog is always out back, and theres a German Shepard behidn me, who hates people she dont know because she was abused. and well lulu my neighbors Moodle will go after someone if she wants to..
