okay so there is this girl there named sara who is a key holder (like me) and she thinks she is the manager and she is nasty and fat and ugly and orders everyone around and thinks she is all that .. and we all comple to the manager about her and she says yeah i know and then never does anything about ..(i got alone really good with the manager) well bc she didn't do anything about it we all went looking for new jobs .. and as you all know i had an interview on friday(still haven't heard back from them) and i had to go tell the manager about it b/c the woman was calling her and i figured its better to hear it from me then this woman (now mind you all i told her was that i went on an interview never said i was leaving or that i was even gunna leave if i got the job) soooooooooooooooooo on saturday i go into work (i'm supose to be closing) and i find out that the manager gave all my hours away and left me with 7 and gave my keys away and was gunna demote me .. she calls me to the office and said that she had to find another key holder b/c i said i was leaving at the end of the month (never said that) and that she cut my hours b/c i can't work the days they need me to too (i asked for a tuesday night off .. people ask for nights off all the time and never get hassle for it) and b/c the store was a mess (i closed friday night and the store was not a mess we spent all night scrubbing the store bc there was nothing else to do even the asitint manager looked at her like what are you talking about) ... so i told her i never told you i was leaving never once said even if i get this new job i was leaving and your a lier the store was not a mess this morning .... and i can not live off that many hours a week (mind you sara has full time with benifits and she lives at home with her mommy and daddy who pay for everything) so she said fine give me your keyes now your done and i fliped out .. i said sooo sara does tail for this place (she never cleans or anything just sits in the offece all the time) and gets whatever she wants .. maybe if i become an ahole i'll get some respect and left ......and all the manager had to say once i was gone was good now maybe i can sleep tonight ...

i am so po'ed b/c if they needed me to stay later i would stay if they needed me to come in early i did if i shif needed covered guess who was the one covering ....i bent over backwards for them and then they have the nerve to fire me b/c i had a job interview... didn't even get the job just had an interview ... omg i am soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo mad ...i can't wait to call the labor bored on them

it sounds like you boss was really upset at the possibility you were leaving and reacted badly. Now that she has fired you you can get unemployment. They do ask the reason you were fired and whith a situation that is fishy the will look into it. I had done that before and the unemployment office got in contact with the BBB. Just be really careful that you stick to just the facts.

I am so sorry! That sounds horrible and Sara and your Boss sound like ***holes and jerks!! That is horrible they are treating you this way!! I hope you get the new job and that they realize they really did need you more than they thought!!

omg i was sooo upset i was hyperventalating for like 3 hours .... it was bad i am still so upset about it and i havn'et heard anything from the other job so i dont think i got it pluse i have hear that its hard to get a job there b/c they are picky .... i don't know what i'm gunna do i need to find a job and get a paycheck b4 my insurence is due .....

Aww Toni! That's just not right! :angry: You need to go in there and sort it out with her. Write her a letter if you don't want to confront her. Say how disappointed and upset you are and that you are seriously thinking of taking her to court for unfair dismissal. Do you have a contract with them? It should say your standard working hours if you do. Legally, at least in this country, they do have to give you what hours they state.
