I thought I'd pin a topic for this section with our expected litters. Fell free to add any litters you're planning or expecting.

I have one doe bred right now. I have been emailing with a breeder for an AFL buck (broken orange) for Olivia. I think I'm going to get this one, but the he's only 4 or 5 weeks old right now so I bred Olivia.

Tara is due tommorow and I feel babies kicking this time, but for once I hope she doesn't have anything because my Dad freaked out on me for having Wally the other day because he thinks I'm stupid and I'm going to end up with 50 rabbits and still have 6 cages in the basement. So I guess I might as well give up now since he said he doesn't want me breeding anymore. It just makes me so happy to have a crappy day at my stupid school which wouldn't be happening if we didn't move, to come home to my baby bunny and take her out to play which is one of the only things that makes me happy now, and get yelled at for her. Makes me feel all warm and snuggly inside. :angry:

I have a expectant litter due on the 10th.
Jasmine(chestnut) X Reeses(chocolate otter)(he got really sick after this mating so I had to put him down, keep your fingers crossed that this litter is really healthy because it is the last litter from him)
as for colors the last litter from this cross gave me 1 chestnut, 2 oranges, and one opal. I'm not too good at color genetics but I really don't expect anything different from these 2 other than maybe I'll get at leat one otter((hoping)) :D

Kismet, I'm sorry your dad is reacting that way :( . I fully understand the sheer joy the babies can bring. It's almost like a natural high.

K & W's Tiny Dancer's nestbox goes in today. :) She's a blue polish bred to a broken blue. :D
However, I'm not so sure if she took! But I'm sure hoping so since I haven't had a litter born here since June of 05. It's not that I can't get my does bred, but I decided to get the hang of college and working before adding breeding rabbits to the agenda again. So shortly I'm gonna be breeding my DH's and my 'last litter' will be in the breeding session.

I hope she took and you have lots of live little babies running aronud!!!

I'm suppose to palpate my doe tomorrow.. gonna do it tonight and hope for the best. I'm gonna be so disappointed if I don't feel anything tonight!
