Title: Rabbit Breeds
Description: Don't know what breed of Rabbit You have
DownEast Mini Lops - April 19, 2005 04:13 PM (GMT)
I came up with a good idea and I hope it is ok. It seems like that sometimes someone will get a rabbit and they don't know what breed/breed cross it is. Well if someone was in that situation they could post a picture of the rabbit here and the rest of the members could help and figure out what breed the peron had. Just an Idea.

Okay, I'm pinning this so that new members can post their bun in here and ask what breed they have! :)
I know what I have... and that's 5 naughty buns... one of which, castor agouti standard rex, chewed right through the internet connection last night!

Great idea and I would add that they should include:
Age:
Weight:
Sex:

Nooo!! My Henry pie is staying right here where I can keep an eye on him!
So that's 5 telephone wires, 3 mice, 2 keyboards, a few lamps, speaker wires, cd player wire, books, magazines, bills, essays... I could go on...
We could also post what our rabbits are... oh I'll go do that now...

Sounds like you need to bunnyproof!
Wasn't it Henry that chewed through something the first time I talked to you on the other forum?!

Probably! Knowing him... he's a nightmare for it! <_<
The thing is, we've put that plastic cable protector over the wires but still he manages to get at them... he actually eats the protector!! The one he ate the other day, well, it has a cover all the way from the pc to the door of the room... and he ate it at the tiny (like 1/2 inch) gap between the cover and the door!! He actually dug up a towel that was covering it and did it! All that effort just to get me off the computer!

Delph, have you tried using apple wood? The buns love it and it's good for their teeth. Just make sure it's regular apple wood with no pestisides.

He has loads to chew in his hutch, like nibblestix, dangly bell toys, etc, but he's just a wee monkey! He plays for a bit with us when he's out, then goes for a lie down... if you don't watch him, he then decides that maybe the skirting board needs chewed as he lies there! He's not done it for ages, but then on Monday, thought "What the hey?! They look like they want a trip to the shop for a cable." So the modem got it! <_< :D It's my own fault for not keeping my eye on him!

Ang, don't feel bad. I watch Bo and he manages..... we just found 2 (the only 2) controllers for the kids' Nintendo 64 have "holes" in their cords. Holes like bunnies make. <_< and now they don't work.
The kids have other gaming systems but they still play that one... they aren't happy.

lol Nepo also loves chewing wires. And now that we have new couches he made a tiny rip on them! :shh: lol. I wish everyone wouldn't get mad at me :(
