:huh: kinda wierd question but i am curious to know how people think the world is going to end, if it is ever going to end at all!

by us screwing it over unless we change our ways. or eventually, because the sun is expanding, it will perish

This subject ALWAYS scares me, just because i dont wanna know the world will end or how or whatever.. if someone i knows talk about it i just tell them to be quiet like my brother! ::rolls eyes:: sucha loser! he told me that its gonna end in 2007, (by 2007 i could only think about NOOO I GRAD IN 2006!! I CANT GET MARRIED AND HAVE KIDS ALL IN ONE YEAR!) and he goes by saying that its going to because (now this is what he heard not what he thinks) we are onna get a black pope, and then hes gonna get world peace, blah blah blah something eles that i dont remember..

300 years from now........but it will be a different world.

I don't know how the world is going to end.. either by natural disasters, us blowing ourselves up, or some kind of devine intervention.. but I very strongly believe it will happen soon. The more I see, hear, and read convince me more and more everyday.

But then again when it comes to this kind of thing most people think I am a nutcase. :wacko:

The planet may still be here in millions of years but it's the people who are going to end life on it IMHO. They've done so much already to destroy it that it may be impossible to reverse the effects. :(

Yes the planet can survive without the humans.

My sister read something, it may have been in the Bible, I'm not 100% sure where though. But anyway she read that the end of the world will happen when two large armies (larger than ever before) are standing across from each other, ready to fight, and right before the first attempt to attack, Jesus will come and stop it and that will be the end.

I'm not sure if I believe that or not...it's just something my sister read!

I'm sad to say we have contributed too much to our own destruction by wrecking this beautiful world we live on, and as others have said us humans and lots of animals will die out probably due to some global disater.
I personally believe it will be due to the gulf stream dissapearing which is VERY bad news as it will change the whole structure of how this planet operates it heating/cooling systems and weather patterns etc. This is likely to induce gobal cooling and another ice age, or as the scientist can't make their minds up on the subjet, gobal warming as the alternative.
Either way if/when the gulf stream goes it could be curtians to life as we know it in a matter of decades, and therE wont be much we will be able to about it. :(
However I'm sure life of some description will go on, it just may not have the most destructive creature on the planet (guess who? us) anymore.
Sorry to be so gloomy, it is a sad subject and it's best not to dwell on it too much.

hmm- not sure if I want to get involved in this one or not. Revelations in the bible gives "end signs" and hints as to what will happen. Most of these end time "signs" have come to pass- but not all- so I don't think we have anything to ultimately worry about quite yet. It talks about how there will be world peace first- but with a master deceiver who will then bring about 7 years of "tribulation" wreaking havok on the world. At the end there will be a huge war "Armeggedon" and then the world as we know it will be done- and all evil destroyed and God will bring all "his children" back to life to live forever in the new world.

I think that we are close, and I believe that we are the cause (whether the bible is accurate or not). Too many people are trying to bring Armageddon about to prevent it at this point. But, on the bright side, I am a cynic and really tend to think the worst of people, which is something I would like to change heh.
