Title: Destiny's Beginning...
Destiny - March 28, 2005 08:03 PM (GMT)
Des and her Eevee, Eve were walking peacefully along the shores of Azure Isle. It was a rather dreary day, rain and thunderstorms rolling in from everywhere. Des' hair was beginning to cling to her face from being wet, and her sneakers were making squishing sounds on the wet ground. "What a great way to start out a journey...." she muttered sarcastically to herself...
The Master - March 28, 2005 08:09 PM (GMT)
Suddenly a tall figure appears out of nowhere.

I am from the team Steel Fist. I hear you have the ledgendary pokemon Lugia. Now hand it over or suffer the conciquencies!
Destiny - March 28, 2005 08:15 PM (GMT)
Des, surprised by the sudden attack, lost her footing and fell back in the wet sand. "Hey!" she shouted waving a fist. "I'm not gonna hand over Zero to you!" She then released her Pokemon, Kit.
The Master - March 28, 2005 08:24 PM (GMT)
"Fine then." He replies. He then sens out his aron. LV.7 Male.
"Aron use double Team and atack with double Edge!" he shouted. Kit managed to avoid the Double Edge. "Aron try Earthquake!" WDYD?
Destiny - March 28, 2005 08:27 PM (GMT)
"Kit!" Des shouted. "Try a sing attack and put that Aron to sleep! Then follow in with an Assist!"
Belle - April 5, 2005 03:13 AM (GMT)
The soft song from the Skitty, stopped the Aron in his tracks. He wobbled, sleepily, as the song overcame him, though it was obvious he was trying to fight the deadly song - but it was no use. His eyelids closed, and he feel asleep - still standing up, no less.
The Assist was already in the making, and a bluish blast of water erupted out of the Skitty's mouth, soaking the Aron's tough steel hide. The Aron flinched slightly from the spray, but still seemed to be enjoying his slumber, and not quite defeated yet.
Destiny - April 6, 2005 09:06 PM (GMT)
Des looked at Kit blankly. 'Of course,' she thought wearily. 'Give me the hyper-active Skitty....'
Anyways, Des continued on with the battle. "Alright Kit, let's try a blizzard attack!" Kit opened her very large mouth and a blast of icy wind shot out. Des watched eagerly, wondering if it would hit the mark...
Belle - April 8, 2005 09:49 PM (GMT)
Well, the spray kinda did, but hyper active as it was, it couldn't exactly keep still, just lightly grazing over the Aron's back; it shuddering in its sleep. However, you could see it was begining to twitch, fighting to try and awake.
Destiny - April 10, 2005 03:10 PM (GMT)
Des looked at the Aron in amazement. "He doesn't even looked fazed!" she cried. Kit, meanwhile was bouncing around on the field, clearly thinking she was the victor. "Kit! Use assist again...."
Belle - April 27, 2005 10:31 PM (GMT)
The assist was once again in motion, the SKitty was a bit confused, but she liked preforming. Glowing pink as the move took effect, she released a Powerful move indeed: Hydro Pump. The High powered water attack surged in the Aron's direction, and while it didn't exactly move anywhere, it did wake up just in time to get a very powerful, and very cold wake up call that left it standing barely on its legs. A second later, it collapsed, and Skitty gains a level!
Seeing his Aron defeated, the mysterious man turned, and fled, leaving $1000 of coins behind..some rich guy.
Destiny - April 28, 2005 01:55 AM (GMT)
Des scooped up Kit into her arms, praising her with compliments and swinging her around. She graciously accepted the prize purse, stuffing it neatly into her travel bag.
"One battle down I suppose," she muttered, as she headed south. "About a gazillion more to go..."
Belle - April 28, 2005 02:11 AM (GMT)
With only a gazlillion more battles left to go, as you walk along the beach line, you notice a large crowd of Wingull begining to crowd onto a certain section of the sandy beach. Their chatter, loud and noisy, is loud enough to draw anyone's attention, and it's nearly common knowledge to know that Wingull just don't gather around in humungeously large flocks such as this, unless there is something quite irregular to be seen. Hmm.. What to do?
Destiny - April 28, 2005 02:17 AM (GMT)
Being the curious and fearful girl she was, Des decided to think on the fact of whether or not she should investigate.
"Well," she muttered. "Whatever's over there is probably pretty exciting." She made a grunt. "Then again, we are on a shoreline, and shellfish can be located near shorelines..." *shivers*
Unfortunately, Des' thoughts had no say in the matter of investigating, seeing as Kit had already run off to see what the commotion was about. Des, sighing heavily, picked herself up and ran off to find her little rambunctious Skitty...
Belle - April 28, 2005 02:48 AM (GMT)
(I _would_ give you a nice Shellfish.. but I'm not that mean. XD)
======
The crowd parted, fearful of the rambunctious feline that ran through them, parting the crowd like a knife through butter. And, as you had no choice, followed through the calling gull Pokemon until you reached the very epicenter of commotion. And lo and behold, it was a Wailmer - a very large one at that, that had beached itself on the shore. It was a rare creature, hardly ever swimming up to the shoreline. No wonder the Wingull had been having a fit over it.
Destiny - April 28, 2005 10:59 AM (GMT)
Des sat contemplating about it. Would she try to catch the Wailmer, or would she help it out?
Des approached the large Pokemon, whom Kit had now started jumping on, with a remorseful look. How was she to move such a creature?
There were these Wingull all over the place, blocking her off as well! If only she hadn't transported Rei to the box. Then she would have been able to use his electricity to fend off the birds.
Des came back to the Wailmer, and took out a pokeball. It needed to get to a pokemon center, and in this state it would die. Des released the pokeball in order to make it easier for her to transport the large pokemon...
Belle - May 2, 2005 03:31 AM (GMT)
The Wailmer couldn't even begin to struggle as the Pokeball enveloped it inside. The Wailmer was too weak, obviously dehydrated from its time in the sun. And at your capture of the Wailmer (lv. 8 male) the Wingull parted, as they had nothing else to stare at anymore, flying off in a great white crowd.
Luckily for you, you could spot a Pokemon Center in the distance, and you ran to it, entering inside, where a small, thirteen year old boy was yelling at Nurse Joy. "I demand faster service! I don't have all day to wait around for you to get my Pokemon Healed. I'm going to be the next Champion, and every moment you waste, wastes my valuble time! Hurry up!"
==
ooc: XD I really tried to portray an obnoxious 13 year old.. but you know him better than I.
Destiny - May 3, 2005 12:26 AM (GMT)
Des immediately shoved the obnoxious little tyrant out of way, eager to receive aid for the Wailmer; her Wailmer now.
"Out of the way," she said, quickly grabbing the boy by the elbow and throwing him backwards.
"Hey, wait a second there missy!" he rounded on her, still flabbergasted by her sudden approach. "I was being served!"
Des paid little attention to the boy with the flaming red hair and ever growing ego.
"Well," she stated matter-of-factly. "From all I could tell it was you, who was serving Nurse Joy with a heaping helping of whining."
This had gotten to the boy. "WHAT?!?" His crimson eyes were now ablaze. "Who are you to talk about rudeness, barging in the way you did!?"
Des neared him, and it seemed as if their noses were touching from the close proximity. After a few exchanges of insults, Nurse Joy decided to end the quarreling.
"Listen here you two!" she said sternly. "If you haven't noticed, this is a hospital. That means there is no fighting...."
The two teens nodded and took a went to take a seat. Unfortunately, only one was available.
The boy was first to sit. Des tried to push him off. Thus began another fight.
"It was my seat!"
"I saw it first!"
*insert more random insults about stealing chairs..*
They finally settled the argument by sharing the chair. Wow. What a shocker!
Afer a few minutes Des finally brought up the typical get-to-know-you question.
"Soooo....What's your name?"
"Ember...." he said promptly. "I take it yours is Brat?"
Jcstyla - May 17, 2005 04:17 PM (GMT)
THEY DISCUSS ABOUT EACH OTHER WHEN TWO TEAM ROCKET GRUNTS STORM IN AND SEE DES AND EMBER BATTLE US THEY SAY AND SEND OUT SEVIPER AND KOFFING
Destiny - May 21, 2005 03:49 AM (GMT)
The Rocket grunts stared oddly as the two teens ignored them and continued to bicker.
Des had grabbed the boy, Ember, and was swinging him around by his collar. It seemed the two made a frightful pair.
Des was first to notice the motly crew that had just stormed in. "Oi!" she exclaimed bluntly, and very unlady-like. "Who the heck are you?"
The grunts stared dumbly as Seviper and Koffing stepped forward. Ember had released himself from Des' grip by now and already had a boyish smirk/grin lighting up on his face.
"So you're looking for a battle, eh?" he muttered confidently. "I'm sure I could use a little warm up..." He pulled out a pokeball and released it. A Houndour emerged, looking frightfully stoic and not a good target to mess with. "Go ahead Grey," Ember muttered to his Houndour. "Get rid o' these goons."
Des looked at the Houndour in awe. She wasn't going to be one-upped by this punk! She too, had very capable pokemon, and was ready to battle. Even if it was alongside him...
"Go Eve, tackle!" The Eevee appeared, ready to strike...
watergod - June 17, 2005 03:11 PM (GMT)
Eevee was determined not to show up Destiny in front of Ember and ran forwards at an incredible speed hitting Seviper with a powerful tackle. Seviper was severely weakened, but had enough energy to deliver a poison taill attack, which Eevee dodged easily using its superior speed. Unwilling to be bested by Destiny, Ember ordered Houdoor to attack Koffing with flamethrower. The battle seemed to be going your way as Koffing was damaged badly from the attack.
Destiny - June 17, 2005 06:08 PM (GMT)
"Grey, use fire spin!" Ember exclaimed, as the blunt Houndour shot for Koffing once more. In the process, Grey had struck Eve with a few embers of his fire spin...
"Watch where you're attacking!" Des shouted to Ember, who merely brushed it off with a wave of his hand.
"Well maybe if your Eevee wasn't always in the way..."
"WHAT!??" Des was fuming by now, and really needed to focus on her opponent and not her partner. "Eve, shadowball now!"
watergod - June 17, 2005 08:12 PM (GMT)
Eve missed both Pokemon with shadow ball because of the distracting embers that hit it. However the Koffing was hit by the fire spin and fainted. Seviper sped straight at Eve and damaged it with a bite attack.
Destiny - June 18, 2005 04:27 AM (GMT)
Eve regained her footing, brushing Grey in the side as she passed him. This was her battle now, and no one, especially not that stupid Houndour, Grey, was going to stop her. Stepping up onto her haunches, she ran in with take down...
watergod - June 19, 2005 11:09 AM (GMT)
Seviper had no time to react as Eve rushed at it with take down. Looking on for a split-second helplessly the Seviper was hit by Eve and it knew no more. As you celebrated your victory Grey suddenly turned around and unleashed a flamethrower on Eve, Eve was shocked but retaliated with a shadow ball. Quickly you recalled Eve as you wondered why Grey would have done that. Shocked, you started yelling at Ember to control his Pokemon a bit more and how he can't be a very good trainer if his Pokemon just attack without orders to. He came back with "Well your stupid little Eevee deserved it for attacking my Houndoor in battle"
You...
Destiny - June 20, 2005 02:56 PM (GMT)
"Grrrr," Destiny seethed. "You.......idiot!"
Ember only laughed at her pitiful attempt to frighten him. "You call that a comeback?"
Des wanted nothing more of the boy and began to storm out of the pokémon center...
watergod - June 20, 2005 04:38 PM (GMT)
Just before you reached the automatic sliding doors all the lights go off and you walk straight into the doors. You thought yourself lucky that Ember didn't see that, but then realised you were stuck inside a building with just him and Nurse Joy for company. Ember has his Houndoor use flash to light up the room and his face darkens when he notices you. "Thanks" you say reluctantly. He sets off exploring the Pokemon centre for reasons unknown to you. Do you follow him or stay put?
Destiny - June 20, 2005 07:22 PM (GMT)
With a slight bit of hesitation Destiny followed close behind Ember. Luckily for her, the area was dimly lit, and he couldn't see exactly how close she was to him.
"What's going on?" she muttered, fright catching her just a little bit. She hated the darkness...
Jcstyla - June 20, 2005 07:49 PM (GMT)
you see a family of banette attack ember
Destiny - June 20, 2005 07:54 PM (GMT)
"Banette?!" Destiny screeched. Destiny wasn't too fond of any ghost pokémon, especially ones like Sableye and Banette. "Ember!"
Immediately, Des reached for her pokébelt. and grabbed King's pokeball. "Go King!" she shouted, and the shiny slowbro emerged. "Psybeam now!"
watergod - June 21, 2005 02:56 PM (GMT)
The Banette all gathered round one larger one, it could have been the leader. The Psybeam ripped throught the Banette and made all of them except one faint. The larger one, who was the only one able to withstand an attack seemed very angry. It attacked King with night shade, dealing quite a bit of damage. This gave away to you that this particular Banette was quite a high level.
Destiny - June 21, 2005 08:03 PM (GMT)
Des was getting more creeped out by the second. Oh how she despised being alone and in the dark!
"Uh Ember....? Now would be the perfect time for you to come out with one of your snide remarks.... Come on this is not funny!!!!"
Ember did not appear.
"Alright then King, try a headbutt and water gun combination!"
watergod - June 23, 2005 06:11 PM (GMT)
The headbutt did nothing at all to the ghost type Bannette, but the water gun did considerable damage. Suddenly the whole area was lit up and you could see Ember silhouetted with Grey next to him. The sudden light scared off the remaining Bannette.
Destiny - June 23, 2005 06:12 PM (GMT)
Des sat down, relieved that the pokemon were finally gone...
Breathing heavily, Ember came over to her. "Got scared didja?" he laughed.
"What?!"
"I'm only stating the obvious Des..." he sighed.
watergod - June 23, 2005 06:20 PM (GMT)
Nurse Joy came running in as the lights flickered back on. She appeared to be running from somebody, or something. Seeing you and Ember she curled up behind you and started mumbling incoherently. Wondering what was wrong you failed to see the shadowy figure float throught the door. You looked round and saw, to your horror, the Bannette that you battled earlier. Luckily it was still on its own and appeared weak from the previous battle.
Destiny - June 23, 2005 06:23 PM (GMT)
Des, feeling a little less frightened, since she was among friends....err aquaintances, gathered up her strength and pulled out a pokeball. It was her newest pokemon, but she decided to use it anyway.
"Go Lark!" The shiny Charmander appeared in a flash of light, illuminating, somewhat, the dark room. "Use ember!"
Ember appeared next to her, a pokeball in his hand as well. "Go Grey, use flamethrower!"
watergod - June 23, 2005 08:50 PM (GMT)
Typical Ember, always trying to outdo you, and up until now succeeding. However this time it was an advantage, the ember and flamethrower combined to form an extremely powerful stream of fire, almost as powerful as a fire blast attack. The Bannette fainted instantly from this attack.
Destiny - June 25, 2005 02:55 PM (GMT)
Immediately, Ember jumped on the chance at catching the pokemon, knocking Des over in the process. Quickly, he threw a pokeball at the fainted Banette...
Sunburst - June 25, 2005 03:17 PM (GMT)
Fortunantly for you, Ember seemed to have been a little off aim, and he missed the Bannette. Nurse Joy angered at Ember's action, grabbed him by the shoulder and began to lecture him, pointing her finger right in his face. This gave you perfect opportunity to catche the banette.
Destiny - June 25, 2005 03:23 PM (GMT)
Des released a pokeball, easily capturing the Banette. A little frightened by the ghost pokemon, she hurried over to where Ember was being lectured. She stuck the pokeball into his hand. Needless to say, he was shocked.
"Just take it," Des murmured, already embarassed that she was doing something nice for him.
Ember nodded dumbly, accepting the pokeball and tucking it away onto his belt.
(OOC: I know I kind of broke a rule by saying the Banette was caught, but I'm guessing that it would have captured anyway. Sorry about that! I'll update my profile)
Sunburst - June 25, 2005 03:26 PM (GMT)
(Yes, thats alright. ^^)
Nurse Joy saw the action and was shocked, in the middle of her "Speech" She walked away, a happiness in her heart to see how people are so kind. It just goes to show that Your Life affects others.
Ember Looked around at you, he was sweating now, from the hard Words Nurse Joy had given him, but he just sighed.
