after wunning the badge at the sodel gym omi is very happy with himself, kane looks at omi and says thats a cool badge, omi says why didn't you try for the badge....kane replies because im not going to bothere him just going to be here when you need my help he says with a smile on his face. with that they both start laughin but the laughin is cut sort when they hear something comin from around the bend

... It was a pokemon shielded by the darkness. Neither Omi nor Kane could decipher exactly which pokemon it was, but it seemed rather mystical.

'Hello,' the mysterious pokemon murmured, causing both kids to jump in surprise. 'Can you help me?'

kane and omi looked at eachother shocked. omi said yes we can help you but first you must show yourself and tell us what you need help with, kane shock is head as to say yes. they were both abit scared as you could tell by the way omi was mumbling

'Very well then,' the Pokemon sighed. 'I will reveal myself.'

Suddenly, a bluish figure appeared. He was veiled in a thick fog, and the dimness of Treason Woods made it ever more frightening.

'My name is Rukario,' he muttered slightly. 'And I am the master of the waves.' He looked around a little bit, as if to make sure nobody was watching.

'I have recently been in hiding from the nefarious team Freeze, a nasty little group that's been after me for ages. I am trying to remain hidden, but a great calamity has befallen this region.' He sighed trying to inch his way over back to the foliage.

'A far greater calamity than there has ever been.....'

omi and kane were now shocked but wanted to know the whole story. ok tell us just what is happenin maybe we could help you and that way you wont have to hide no more, so just tell us what we can do for you?

Rukario sat on a nearby tree branch contemplating on how to tell you.

'Well I suppose I should start at the very beginning...' he pondered aloud.

"Well that would be helpful..." Kane muttered sarcastically.

'I guess it would now. So as I was saying, this team, Team Freeze I believe they dubbed themselves, are a malicious group of Pokemon thieves that are sent on domination. They reside in the far depths of the Azure Region, and are quite hard to find. They lurk about in the depths, waiting to catch trainers off their guard.'

'Unfortunately, they have their eyes set on capturing me and using me for evil plots and such. I have no interest in participating though...'

'They use these things.... I believe they're called hybrids, for fighting in battles. They're Pokemon with genetically enhanced features, including a few bits of DNA from other Pokemon species. They are ten-times the power of any ordinary Pokemon. Even I had a struggle with one.'

'Well now, I guess this is where you come in... I'm not in need of you just yet, but I will need you both eventually.' Rukario sighed. 'If only the other legendaries could find those other trainers as well... An ancient prophecy foretells of a band of trainers and legendary pokemon to bring down an evil force....'

'Well I guess I'll check in on from time to time.... 'Til then, farewell!'

With a flash of blue light, Rukario disappeared into the violet nighttime sky...

omi and kane just looked at eachother shocked, did that really happen omi said, im gonna be part of some elite trainers to stop this team freeze, this is strange. but not to let this spoil is journey just yet omi said to kane lets catch some pokemon and train hard till that day comes. kane nodded and said lets do this. with that a pokemon attacked omi what pokemon was it though?

It was a Mareep Lv.7 Female! It attacked you using thundershock!

omi said not bad and sent out houndour. houndour use flamethrower, kane just sat back for this battle. houndour wanted to prove to omi he was a strong pokemon and let out a big flamethrower

The Mareep tumbled backwards, a bit flabbergasted from the onslaught of flames. She retaliated with a thundershock, electrocuting the poor Houndour.

Houndour stay in there buddy omi shouted. kane was always routin for Houndour. right Houndour use flamethrower again. Houndour looked and at omi then turned towards mareep and let out another flamethrower

Houndour was way too telegraphic with his move, and Mareep easily dodged it. She then shot out a more powerful attack, thunderbolt. It hit, sending electric charges all through the black dog...

omi shouted "come on houndour we can win this" use flamethrower again now. with that a large burst of fire came from houndours mouth ok lets make this move count omi said

Once again, the flamethrower was easily dodged, and the Mareep began to jump up and down giddily...

She came back with a tackle attack, and sent Houndour flying...

( umm i dont think it would be able to dodge it twice no offense)

ok houndour use crunch on him i think that will do it.......Kane said if this move doesn't workin maybe switch pokemon... omi looked and nodded his head as to be in agreement with kane... ok now use crunch houndour

(OOC: None Taken ^_^ In the game this would normally not happen, but in the Azure Region it does. Varying your attacks like you are right now makes it easier for you to win)

The crunch hit, and Mareep fell backwards, not moving. Apparently it was KO'ed...

ok omi looking shocked as mareep was juts laying there ok good job houndour. omi then said return houndour.kane asked "are you going catch mareep or not".. omi replied "no i dont want it you can try to catch it if you like". kane said "ok i'll give it a try".with that he threw a pokeball at mareep.

The Mareep disappeared in a flash of light, obviously not having the strength to struggle free. "I captured her!" Kane rejoiced. "How about we continue on?"

kane and omi carry on walking through the woods and get that horrible feelin that something aint right. kane turns to omi. do you feel that he says. yes omi replies i wonder what that could be. within a few seconds something strange happens

Suddenly, the girl from Sodel City Gym appears, and no, it's not the vivacious Koro. It's her gangly little sister Des...

"Hey it's you two!" she cried from over yonder. "From the gym!"

aw its that little girl again omi said.kane stopped looked at her and said i think we should leave now before we end up battlin her. omi said to kane dont worry we aint going to battle her, we need to catch more pokemon and no time for battles unless its a gym battle. with that the girl got up close to omi and kane and said......

"Hey who're you calling 'LITTLE'?!? I'm older than you!" Apparently, the girl had a little bit of a temper...

"...And why exactly are you running away? I need to restore my family honour after that depressing display my sister put on!" she coffed. "Everyone knows I'm the best pokemon trainer in the Izuma family!"

Omi and Kane ignored her and began to walk down the lane. "Hey wait!" Des cried after them. "You can't get away that easily!" She ran back alongside them. "Are you afraid to fight me?"

Omi and Kae merely shook their heads and began to walk away again. "What?!?"

"We don't have time to battle trainers like you," Kane said. "The only interests we have right now are catching and gyms..."

Des looked at them enraged. "Fine then! I'll follow you until you battle me!"

"Suit yourself," Kane replied.

with des followin them omi and kane walked down the path tryin to ignore the fact des was there.omi said to kane we need to catch more pokemon. kane agreed lets start lookin now her said so they did just that and began to look.

Unfortunately, no Pokémon were to be found.

"I'm still back here ya know!" Des hollered from behind. An Eevee had just appeared and was now perched on her shoulder.

Once again she was ignored, and you continued down the path.

Des was losing it.

"Urghhhhhh.......I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE! SOMEBODY BATTLE ME!"

She came running after the two boys, but they managed to get away, ducking into a hiding place.

"Uhhh...Wait....WHERE DID YOU GO?" She looked around innocently. "I'll find you one day!"

The coast was clear..... At least.....For now.....

omi and kane came out from hidin and seen that des was gone "oh that girl as problems" kane said. omi agreed and said "so now lets get back to looking for pokemon". they continued walk and search not know what to find here in this place that seems so strange........

They suddenly heard a rustle in the bushes. It suddenly seemed to get very, very cold...

omi looked at kane and said "is it me or did it just get cold", kane nodded in agreement with what omi said.. with that something unbelievable happend
