omi and kane finally reach sodel city, as they get there they realise this is where the gym is, omi says to kane i know we are not really that strong but we should battle the gym leader. kane looks and nodds his heac as to agree, they walk upto the gym and enter through the big doors . they hear a voice "so you have came to challenge me". omi shouted yes , the gym leader replys "your challenge as been accept

A young girl, no older than thriteen, appeared on the opposite side of the arena. She had a vciolet shade of hair, and basically everything else she was wearing had some violet too.

"So you're ready for a battle against the prestigious Sodel Gym Leader?" she asked in her squeaky, mouse-like voice.

Kane looked over to you. "I don't think this is the gym leader," he said suspiciously. he handed over to you a trainer's manual that was opened to the Sodel City Section. "This is the gym leader," he said pointing to a picture.


That was definitely not the girl you were currently facing. "Are you gonna battle me or what?" you heard the girl yell from across the battlefield. She was obviously getting impatient, and made a motion for the battlefield to open up. Two large gates pulled away from the area below you to reveal a large tank of water with tiny platforms spread across it. It was a perfect water arena. "Come on out Bubbles!" The girl cried, as the water seemed to illuminate her. A very large Seadra dropped into the water, and looked up. "Call out a pokemon!" the girl shouted again.

As you reached for a pokeball off of your belt, you heard a noise come from the room next door. Suddenly, a taller girl, probably seventeen, with powder blue hair, came barging. "Des!" she chided. "How many times do I have to tell you? Stop trying to fight my battles here!"

The girl, Des, looked up at her with a scowl. "But sister!" she whined folding her arms across her chest. "You're no fun at all!" She pointed over to you. "Look at that guy! Just by looking at him, I know I can beat him!" You could tell that you already weren't very fond of this little girl, but her older sister seemed okay.

The older girl's eyes went wide when she saw you. "I am so sorry!" she said rushing over to you. "My sister wants to be a gym trainer so badly, and sometime she fights my battles for me." She gave a smile. "By the way, my name's Koro, and I'm the Sodel City gym leader."

you look at her and say "your sisters pokemon looks strong and i wouldn't be suprised if yours were alot stronger, but i really need to try my hardest cause one day i want to be a pokemon master", and with that kane looked at you and nodded. then kane said the strangest thing. wanna make this battle a two on two battle he asked koro's, koro looked at him with shock and said well why not, it will make it abit exciting. with that kane sent out Teddiursa and told him to use slash while omi sent out Zigzagoon and ordered it to use pin missile....

Koro looked at Omi and Kane with suspicion. "A two on two battle you say? Well I guess that'd be okay." She shrugged her shoulders and drew out two of her pokeballs.

Des looked over. "What?!? You mean I can't battle with you Koro?!?"

Koro looked back at her. "Nope. You're not a certified Gym Leader."

Des gave another pout and went over to the sidelines. "I'll judge than. hmph."

Koro released the two pokeballs. There was a Lapras and a Marill there!

"So are we ready to begin?" Koro asked. "You two can make the first move..."

while they were both thinkin this battle will probably be impossible to win they said to each other "lets give it our best shot" .... kane sent out Teddiursa and told him to use slash while omi sent out Zigzagoon and ordered it to use pin missile.... come oh guys try your best we need this badge

It seemed that Whirl (Lapras) and Marill were a very good team. They easily dodged the combination of attacks by diving underwater. Soon, they both resurfaced and Marill jumped onto one of the platforms.

Koro looked proudly at her two powerful pokemon. "Alright Marill use rollout on that little Zigzagoon! Whirl, tackle the Teddiursa!"

Both pokemon did as they were told, and came colliding in with both Omi's ad Kane's pokemon. Zigzagoon fell limply back onto a different platform, while Teddiursa was seriously injured.

"Finish them off with icebeam, Whirl!" Koro cried. The icebeam went directly towards Zigzagoon, who was still unmoving on the cold hard platform.

"Quick Teddiursa, grab Zigzagoon!" Kane cried. Teddiursa ran towards Zigzagoon, and just in the nick of time, pulled him out of the icebeam's way.

"Thank goodness," Kane sighed, wiping the sweat from his bro. "That was really close."

It seemed that you two would have to work as a team to win this one...

ok omi whispered " kane we will use the same two moves again but this time as Zigzagoon uses pin missile follow behind with Teddiursa and use your slash on maril, ok lets do this go Zigzagoon pin missile. kane waited, ok now Teddiursa use slash on maril

The pin missile struck Marill, and he tumbled into the water. Teddiursa then struck with slash and Marill was seriously hurt.

"Marill!" Koro cried. Marill floated in the water, as tears began to from in Koro's eyes. "I'm sorry," she whispered. "It's my fault you got hurt!"

Marill came to and turned to face his owner. He gave her a harsh glare, as if to tell her to quit crying and immediately the tears stopped flowing. "Alright then you gus," Koro said a bit more uplifting. "Try a double surf!"

Both of Koro's pokemon used the surf attack, and immediately the water started to rock. Then a huge wave came crashing down, knocking both Zigzagoon and Teddiursa off the platforms and into the water.

They both struggled beneath the water's surface, attempting to regain air. Whirl used a bubblebeam and sent both pokemon flying out of the water, panting heavily and seriously injured.

"I couldn't let your pokemon die," Koro said a bit more confidently to Omi and Kane. "So I had Whirl use bubblebeam before they ran out of air..."

It seemed she was mocking you, but Teddiursa and Zigzagoon could still battle.

"Marill rollout, and Whirl icebeam!" Koro commanded.

Marill hit Zigzagoon with a rollout and sent him flying back. Whirl shot out an icebeam towards Teddiursa. Unfortunately, Teddiursa was too weak to dodge it....

A flash of light erupted in the stadium as Teddiursa was hit with the icebeam. As everything cleared, Teddiursa had been turned into a frozen block of ice...

Now you had to fight her on your own...

lookin at kanes Teddiursa froozen made omi realise it was now up to him to win this battle ok zigzagoon use pin missile followed by tackle make sure they both hit hard you demand, zigzagoon looks at you with a look of angry in his eyes and lets out a really power pin missile and then follows it up with a massive tackle attack

Zigzagoon struck Marill hard, and sent him flying out of the arena apparently KO'ed. Koro looked to the tiny blue mouse with affection. "You did a good job Marill," she said softly while recalling the fainted mouse.

Suddenly, the teen began to laugh. "Well," she said darkly. "I didn't actually believe that you would end up knocking out one of my pokemon..." She then looked up with a sudden gleam in her eyes. "It's alright though. My strongest Pokemon is still fighting fit!"

Whirl dove towards Zigzagoon and struck him back with a bubblebeam. Omi looked at his pokemon, and knew that his strength was dwindling. There had to be a way to beat her!

Zigzagoon managed to struggle to his feet, although there was still a slight shake in his stance.

"Go Whirl! Use water gun!" The water gun struck Zigzagoon hard, and he toppled back into the water, right where Whirl wanted him.

Suddenly a slight spark began to form on his jagged hairs, making it look like electricity was bounding off of him. That was it! The one attack that might stand a chance!

omi was shocked omg zigzagoon can use thunder well lets give it a try and with that omi yelled to zigzagoon *now use your thunder attack". zigzagoon started to let off sparks and then sent thunder straight towards whirl. omi was just hopin this move could save him

The thunder attack erupted all over the stadium, and a flash of light blinded evryone for a few moments.

As the light cleared, Omi could see Zigzagoon standing atop one of the platforms, still standing strong.

Whirl on the other hand, was lying knocked out on the surface of the water.

"What?!?" Koro exclaimed disbelievingly. "How could I lose?"

Within a moment, she was over next to Omi extending an arm. "That was a good battle," she said kindly. "...And you deserve this I suppose..." She handed Omi a blue badgs that looked somewhat like a surfboard. "The ocean badge!"

She also handed Omi a magic stone. "It can evoplve any pokemon you want,"she said all-knowingly.
