Age: Eighteen - same age as Belle
Bio: Born in the same town as Belle, she and Silas grew up together, and were as close as friends could be, and still are. However, Belle's Pokemon journey forced the two to become seperated, as Silas was still wondering about his future.

Appearance & Personality: At the moment, he's a rather good looking fellow, tall, with ebony black hair. He's a very couragous person, with a very regal attitude, and would do anything to save those he cares about.

Favorite Type of Pokemon: Due to his personality, he hasn't a true "favorite" type, however he likes to train regal pokemon, with serious, down to earth natures, not silly immature ones (Take Aipom for example). However, if I had to narrow it down to a few types, it would be Fire, Psychic, and Dark.

Yes sure. XD As for companion Pokemon, they do gain levels and such and they can battle in trainer battles as well. They can't fight Gym Leaders or Rival battles though... Oh yes! They can catch Pokemon too, if you don't want your main character to catch it.
