As you walk along, you notice a small trainer standing off in the clearing. It seemed there was a little boy, no older than ten, standing there in your way. His eyes were large and held a strange sort of innocence. He came up to you, and sad, "Would you like to battle?" He blinked imploringly. "How 'bout a double battle?"

A Zigzagoon and Sneasel appeared from the Pokeballs. The zigzagoon was to be expected, but a Sneasel? What was that all about? Usually newbies didn't have very rare Pokemon, but with this kid it was different.

"Like him?" The boy asked, grinning like a fool. "Just got this sneasel from Freeze HQ. They were having a freebie day!"

'Freebie day? Freeze head quarters?' you thought wearily. What was this all about? There was something fishy about this situation.

"So are we gonna fight or what?" the youngster sneered.

Hey you little punk how bout if you win you get this magical stone and if i win i get sneasel how do you like them apples i bet you stole the sneasel bring it on. pidgey wing attack eevee Secret power go make zigzagoon faint come on then lets see what ya got bet your sneasel or are you chicken come on!

"Fine, but I talk trash with my pokemon not my mouth..." The little kid shouted. "Go my Pokemon! Ziggy tackle! Blue scratch!"

The tackle barely damaged Eevee, but Pidgey was easily thrown back by the Sneasel's scratch. All that power in just a scratch attack?!?

The sneasel's speed was mesmerizing, and it easily dodged the combination of attacks. While the two pokemon were recuperating from their last attack, the forgotten Zigzagoon came up from behind, elctrocuting the two pokemon with a thunderbolt attack.

It hit directly, injuring eevee and leaving Pidgey paralyzed.

"You know in a double battle you have to fight both pokemon, not just one," the boy laughed. "You're not going to win if you keep coming after my Sneasel...."

"Now Blue!" he cried. "Ice punch!" A swirl of frost began to form around the Sneasel's fist, and it hit Eevee directly...

After the dust of the sand-attack had settled, Zigzagoon had fainted, but Sneasel was still standing. "Go Blue! Use quick attack!"

"No!" The trainer cried. "How can this be?" He ran off into the forest.

As you went to claim your prize, a sudden flash of light appeared, and the Sneasel disappeared. It was recalled to a pokeball, from a mysterious trainer who was hiding among the foliage.

"I'll be taking my pokemon back," the strange voice, that definitely wasn't the previous trainer's, said. He disappeared.

Suddenly a whistle sounded, and across the distance you could see a ferry. It was your ticket off Azure Isle! WDYD?
