Im a little busy for the next week or so then ill be looking into ideas/code ect

Think there should be a private erea for this intro ... so only people contributing can see ideas and gfx/code examples..

I suppose i cud knock up a bit o code and du a 3d snowman and a bit o snow, also maybe a toon (chrissy related)

One thing i cant stand doin is greatz ie waffle in scrolly messages so if any 1 wants 2 du that then the jobs urz

Yeah sure. I told DB that I had some spare OSUK logos and graphics hanging around from cancelled projects previously.

Adding snow to them won't take long :)

@Pentagram: Nice one m8y. Have a trawl thru your HD see what fancies you can find which will fit the prod. :)

@Codey: If we start trading code, gfx etc I can always make a password protected area for private talk.

1 of the main places helping me with doing stuff for blitz has closed down , will be looking else where for examples and stuff over the next few weeks.

Dboy wants a re-vamp of last years xmastro which aint a problem , makes life easier for me lol ..

Had a problem with the scroller on the xmastro for some machines but had an offer from ALIENEYE to look over it for me.

@Codey: don't ditch the APod project 'cos grumpy bollox ( ;) ) said it's not very good. Just stay on the ball and learning new stuff.

@Sleepy: any chance of a preview of the xmastro m8 so I can get a feel of what scroller burble is required. ;)

@ Dazzaboy, the ascii is not going 2 b in exe. Since there will b no credits in the exe. Thought they cud go in a full size nfo (ascii) and distroed with package.

@ Sarek, Thought that other members of the forum wud like 2 hear wats goin on with the demo, and that only the admins wud get a glimpse of the beta.

@Sleepy: Ok with ya now. When you asked for a full ascii I thought it was somehow going in the main exe which was a tad strange. ;)

I've got a spare .diz file from the Apod project so I'll use that and do a seperate nFo file with the creds in.

Dumped my piece for the scroller in admin.

Adding 2 demo has I type ( Mulitasking i hear u shout ) :)

Seems to have gone quiet over the last few days....

For my text in scroller just greet DBF and intro-inferno ... that should be enuff from me....

@Sleepy: any updates on release date m8? No pressure but you've 16 days to go chief. ;)

Tryin 2 werk out some code 4 scroller, but wen it gets half way throu the text it grinds 2 a halt.
I think i might be overloadin the memory location, coz every text char uses a set number of bytes and wen it getz 2 a certain part in the routine it falls over.
Or Well bak 2 it

IF all fail will have 2 cut out scrolly ;)

Just an Update

You might b wunderin why I hav not been pro active on the forum 4 the last few weeks, but me and my family are going threw a rough time at present. My wife has found a lump and she as 2 go 4 sum tests, the doctor thinks it cud b Cancer. So at the moment my life is on hold, as is the christmas demo. Sorry 4 the bad news but u may have gathered that my family is at the forfront of my mind at the moment.
