Title: Phaseshift Magazine
DaZZaBoY - December 30, 2005 09:37 PM (GMT)
I recently came across an old BETA version of Phaseshift magazine and noticed that the beta tester list had a fair few names of members in this forum. This production was looking pretty polished and had quite a lot of content even in beta form, but it never actually saw the light of day.. why was this? Artistic disagreements perhaps?
After a bit of digging, I've come across a new version of PShift which is now run by Kate and aimed at transgenderal interests. Wow! Talk about a switch in direction. ;)
Anyone know what exactly happened and why the original version was never released?

General mix of both financial and artistic disagreements is what killed the original PhaseShift project.
The new PhaseShift project.... Like you said, a new direction!

Told Dazzaboy what i could remeber from the collapse of Phaseshift (as we knew/remeber it ;))
but i kept it out of the forum to protect the innocent ;)

What was the mag originally aimed at?

@Darkus
Originally the magazine was going to be a combination of a general computer mag, with movie reviews and bits and pieces on the car modding scene.

Yeah looks like they all grew up since (on the car modding scene ;))
Reality bites!

Car modding is cool :P Although I havent done anything to my new car. The last one had a few extras.. different alloys, tinted glass, twinpipe exhaust, pipecross airfilter..

Yup.. had a Pipercross Vector induction kit on my last car and those babies know how to suck air! Hell of a ROAR from the engine when you bury the throttle tho. ;)
Haven't bothered modding the Pug I have now 'cos it's horses keep me more than happy. :)
Any other joy boys in the house?
