It's easier than you think to actually get a forum up and running and you can do a lot worse than checking out http://invisionfree.com/

You can actually get your hands on the Invision s/ware and host it yourself as long as you have php and mySQL enabled webspace, but it's a lot easier if you get someone else to host it for you, hence the InvisionFree boards.

We're currently in the process of tweaking the gfx and skinning on the forum now we've built up a decent member base, so keep 'em peeled. :)

Well thats still up for debate at the moment. I've tried a couple of new skins but they've been a no no so far.

You can't install the full skin and button packs as the free hosted forum won't allow you too (shame) but we can mess about with the CSS code and gfx individually so we have some form of changability over it all.

The main banners nice tho eh. Very patriotic. ;) c/o Sarek.

Yeah I like the logo a lot .. :P Has a nice feel to it.

Anyone sussed the hidden gag in the banner yet? lol

CLUE: it's a subject very close to our hearts (to all the old members who were around in esd/gv revival days!)
