I run all my stuff single handedly im no rich guy who ponces about everywhere amiga is and has the money to buy out old stock.

Hope fully amiBay will be a chance for me to redeem myself as all the UK amiga related sites are in a ring of fire and have had us blagged for ages.

I haven't read a great deal of this BS about you on the various Amiga forums but from what I have seen and to be brutally honest, your name isn't the best around at the moment.

Hopefully you can reverse this by becoming an active part of the Amibay and oSuK communities and deal (and converse) with some nice people.

I was one of the main distributors by hand of Paradox's cracktro games.

I have created sprites and graphics for some of their intro like the one for ninja3( i did the red balls)

i used get the disk of my supplier and take them to computer clubs years ago mate

i took the name of Paradox in 1994 and it was purely for pc gaming online but it sorta stuck and im known my this name all over

I have been in contact with Paradox PDX and I have run a mirror site PDX-TEAM.net in the past.

I have followed them all the way from MAD and right up till adobe and cubase cracks etc and still love the artwork. phave you been on www.paradogs.com latley?

I wanted to bring back the Paradox name in gaming becuase they kinda lost it a bit. and remind people of its roots

Quite alot of people know me as paradox.

I have run Paradox gaming servers for Quake 4 and Trackmania United

I am ranked 104th in the world out of millions of accounts and have over 200 members.

I make the tracks for the Paradox team of which I am the owner.

Trackmania is a great series of games. I've been getting back into the free Trackmania Nations recently, but need some practice before I become any good again. I have however designed quite a nice classicamiga skinned car for it. :)

BTW, have you ever found out if Paradox are OK with you using their name?

After all they are still a very active cracking group releasing many games for PC, PS2, Wii, PSP, Xbox360 and PS3. Plus they are currently famous for being the first group to bypass Vista's activation!

??? :blink: They have remained very active throughout the years mate. Moving from the Amiga to SNES and Sega cracking, then to PC in 1994 and onwards to newer gaming systems. I always see their nfo greetings with a lot of releases I obtain.

Paradogs.com has been down for ages...

I sense something fishy here. False claims and false identity! Trying to ride on the success of others. It is very wrong to assume the identify of another, especially when it is as famous as Paradox.

And I have to wonder what the reason or point is. If you appreciate the work of a group or individual you don't normally try to take their name and use it as your own. To then use it to obtain instant false notoriety. That is just wrong. Any name that is well known is for a reason. That name became popular due to a lot of hard work and effort from those behind the name.

People who open thier mouths without thought thinking back to those old days need to know that some guys that were active in the warez scene are still around.

Alien / PDX is an amazing graphics artist, maybe one of the most respected artists in the scene and you say you made some lame ass vectorbob graphics for some intro?

Anyway I don't believe you, I know some of the old members of PDX / MAD / Trilogy and none of them know who you are.

Unless he was some kind of coding wonderkid, I don't reckon Alien^Tek is old enough to have been around the early Amiga scene and Paradox releases, I could be wrong though...

I will ask Mr. Blobby, Voodoo and some of the other local old skool sceners if they know anything about this, some still hang around on Datacave and Unlockers.

Might be worth asking Galahad and some of the Fairlight crowd on EAB as well.

Fairlight... now there's a name I haven't seen/heard in years...

(I'm not claiming any personal association, mind you, it's just that that name brings memories flooding back.)

Fairlight has to be a name nearly every Amiga user came to know and love.

I think they are still about in some shape or form though. I'm sure i saw them credited with a few releases recently too.

Harrison, Fairlight is one of the most active release groups on the PC :)

To clarify, Alien/TEK is not and was never a member of Paradox first time around or second time around.

As for 'following' MAD (Mutual Assured Destruction, Pre-cursor to Paradox), thats a misnomer. If I collect all their cracks, does that make me a MAD follower?

There was only ever one UK member with the name Robert, and I can assure you it wasn't Alien/TEK because I've met the Robert concerned who was Bacon n Egg/Paradox, original supplier for games from Centresoft, Birmingham. This Robert was also one of the main UK members of Dual Crew Shining.

Taking other groups names and passing them off as your own, or claiming that you were in any way a member of them is crass and lame.

As for your supposed 'contribution' to their cracktros, that would be a stretch seeing as none of them were coded by anyone in the UK, they were all done by foreign demo groups or in house, and I'm quite sure they didn't ever need Alien/TEKS contribution to finish a cracktro off being that it was DEMO groups that coded their intros, I'm guessing, they might just have a couple of graphics artists capable of doing the job!

I have no clue who you are, but I would strongly suggest you desist in the pretence that you have anything to do with Paradox past or present, intelligence would dictate you've been 'found out'.

I checked with John (aka Mr. Blobby from the Blobby CDs) who used to run the club Alien says he was at, that I also went to back in the 90s.

I am sure that if a big noise from PDX was there he would have been well known and revered as a demi-god, funny that I don't remember any of that....

Like I said to you before Alien^Tek, it's a small universe you are operating in, and most people know others in the scene...

I don't mind, but you need to edit that I was a member of Paradox, as I wasn't, I was Fairlight, among many other groups.

I onlt ook the paradox name when i started the trackmania gaming servers.

I did however make the red spherical sprites in the ninja3 cracktro.

I was a large distributor of all Paradox cracks and passed out over 3000 floppies in my time uptil 1994

As i said im 120th in the world at TMN and TMU out of about 3 million accounts.

I have made over 200 full tracks the craziest ones you will ever see etc like crusard, 420, UNRT, XXX, the list goes on and on.

I have over 400 followers and members on this game we all have the same colour coded names.

I hope you can respect I'd rather not be on a thread with someone of such nature. There is too much shit in the world to deal with as it is & I have no time for people who blatently rip other people off. Most times, they don't even want to help themselves & this is really evident in this case with countless bans from places all over the net.

He might appear to be fitting in, but it wont last. He pushes & shoves for his own needs. We also have another person around Amibay who is of similar ilk & I wasn't the only person to warn him on Amibench. I'm watching his posts very carefully but wash my hands of Alien Tek entirely.

as I said I have had the name Paradox since 1994 kinda adopted when they went into consoles and pc shite.

I started a Paradox Team on the gaming servers and had over 400 members.

Im not arsed about my passed if you are its your fault, I have no complaints whatso ever in email or telephone that must count for something.

And I think my idea's are best suited for all Amigans.

We all need a cheep soc ppc mobo for mos linux and aos4 under 150 quid with gfx built in and other shit, so all we have to do is add storage and ram.

then we will all have the same system etc that we can sell after a year or so when a new one comes out.

Its upto you..... You can follow the bullshit from amiga.inc amigaworld.net amiga.org amigaones:) but I will not.

They are horrible people with only one intention and that is to hord the amiga name and IP's to themselves and help amiga.inc keep a foot on any Amiga Technologies.

Perhaps your choice of name and claims have fallen on stony ground here, there are enough of the original Paradox crew still around to belie your claim to superstar status, best if you give it a rest as it's winding people up.

The best thing you could do now right now is try and stay "under the radar" regarding controversial subjects and get on with your project. If you keep winding the Amiga community up, your name will eventually be Alienated^Tek....
