I've posted a few times at A.org, starting here, and I have a few Amigas that I don't really use any more ... :( Yes, there are some bits to go in the Bay - including a whole machine or two...

I've read a lot of early software docs, from the first few hundred Fish disks... I really do wish that the Amiga had won the battle for the desktop, but business couldn't see past the "compatibility" issues... (created by a company that never revealed its file-formats, maybe) and, as they say, no-one was ever fired for buying IBM (compatibles). Never mind the quality, list the megahertz!

I like The Settlers (original version) because it's just so perfect as a game.

My favourite Amiga has to be the A1200, because I've got one (amongst others). :D

@Meega: Go for it with the avatar if you want (though there's nowt wrong with the one you've got now). The limit here used to be 120x120 but I pushed it up to 150x due to it screwing my anim gif. ;)

Oh it's only tiddly, as it was made for A.org so it is less than 10KB. But, of course, it will also get scaled up, and likely look like shit. :lol: (Mind you, sleepw@lk's doesn't, is it only still pictures that get scaled?)

Pics stay at whatever scale they're uploaded at.. but I'll have to try upping a few smaller anims to see if it does fuck around with scaling? On principal it shouldn't but you know these forums. :)

Wrong! :D It got scaled, it should be 50x50.

At least we now know for definate. lol
