Those specs are really what it was made on not what it needs to run ;)

NO you don't need to upgrade as per anything with sleepwalk it's all tounge in cheek like the demo it's self ;)

Watch it m8 it's really quite funny i downloaded it whilst getting a DVD of V*sta link provided by M*rl*n ;)

Since i have almost identical (for now) system as sleepwalk inc mobo and gfx card / mem dvd burner etc ran fine on my pc!

Loved the Anti Piracy Warning at the begining, Also the Vista / Notepad bit at the end very nice sleepwalk ;)

This is pretty good for a one man production better than the rest of us put together have done over the last year ;)

@sleepwalk you still need to get a hang on the aspect ratio of screens m8 ;)
But otherwise very good and shock horror u didn't do ur own music lol:)

BTW: i don't give a shit if it's 2k / 20k or 2 terrabytes as long as it works and is a reasonable download didn't even look how big it was ;)

@Sleepster: Hey! I loved this demo mate. Haven't had so much fun (demowise) in ages. :D Some interesting and funny touches in there, starting from the 'mallet' refs in the disclaimer, the kewl BIOS screen and TWAT, I thought you'd manage to lock my copy of Vista with that bogus exception error! lol Glad you made it disappear quickly though or most people would be heading for the reset button, heh.

The wireframe tablecloth routine was sweet and the mock plasma/copper effects gave it that touch of yesteryear that we all love so much. The oS-uK splash was gorg too, damn those guys behind it are talented *cough

Cheers for the creds too! All in all, a top effort m8!

Is Sundown 2007 running a wild competition? If so, get the damn thing submitted. ;)

I did enter the compo on DBF the other month , banana compo or sumthing.

Glad u picked up on the small touches, makes all the difference that someone watched the demo that closely.

The PSP / Outrun Represents a CRASH, a suttle one I Know but needed some way to show the computer crashing besides the BSOD.

On with the next demo has I type.

The all "We R Not L33T" Saga came about coz they think coz they can code they think there products are better than the little peoples.

I just started the whole thing 2 prove u dont need 2 Know owt bout coding 2 achieve a funny decent demo, without the almighty attitudes.

2 Sarek2k 4 being my guinea pig. Coz I show him all my ideas, which I incorporate into my demos.

Also will recompile the .exe so if any wun wud like a mention on the end creditz then shout up. Nows your chance.

I think Sundown 2007 has been and gone lookin at there website, only missed it by 10 days too, or well maybe next year :)

@Sleepy: well.. it's only fair that I (we) give it a decent review after the effort put into it.

It's a bummer that you only missed Sundown by a matter of days but I'm not sure about their acceptance to 'wild' entries anyway. Must be an indication that I wasn't really bothered about the compo full stop. ;)

Just been 2 sareks and watched my demo on is puter.
Runs same has mine, except is tft is in a different resolution 2 mine.

Mine runs in 1024 X 768 100hz

Coz the demo waz created from my puter it looks like its in wide screen but on sareks it look like theres a big black border round the demo.

Wot i need 2 know 4 next demo is wot resolutions everone is running then i can make a tft version and a crt version.

So wot resolution u runnin :)

On my main set-up, it was running at 1024x768 @ 60hz

Running at 1280 / 1024 . Really enjoyed it! When is the final version out?

Just to make things a bit clearer.

I was going to enter it in the sundown 2007 wild entry.
and if I had the time I wud have tidied up the .exe and maybe added a icon and a nfo 2 the archive.

But since I missed Sundown 2007 the .exe stands.

On a new note the beta of new demo will available to admins in a few days time.
