Afternoon Kei!
Good to see ya back in town m8. ;)

Kei,
Apologies for losing your last account but Sarek accidentally used one of the clean up filters a while ago and unfortunately this dumped you and Kooky outta here. Ooops!
Kei - May 6, 2007 10:16 PM (GMT)
That's ok. I usually check back here every now and then but I haven't posted in a while which is why I only realised my account was gone when I read your reply to Dooba.

DaZZaBoY - May 10, 2007 05:19 PM (GMT)
Do ya still converse with Kooky at all?
darkus - May 12, 2007 07:37 AM (GMT)
Kei - May 19, 2007 11:02 AM (GMT)
I haven't heard from Kooky in ages. He usually says hi once a year as do a bunch of the other ex-Carnage guys, which is pretty cool.
It's interesting to hear about what people are up to these days and whether they have or are on the way to having the ideal job yet that they talked about when we were younger and messing about with our Amiga's.
What do you guy's do?
Kei
DaZZaBoY - May 27, 2007 08:51 PM (GMT)
@Kei:
Always good to see old compadre's keeping in touch, even tho it's in a semi-regular way. :)
I'll kick off another thread regarding what everyones done / been doing etc in another part of the forum away from guest viewing. Is this a little paranoid? lol
Btw, do you still have all that old Carnage stuff backed up somewhere? Wouldn't mind a goosey at it m8. ;)
Kei - June 7, 2007 07:51 AM (GMT)
Yeah I have loads of Carnage stuff, released and un-finished but in a releasable state, lying around on a few CDs.
I was hosting the Word downloads on my last server but I changed servers and the new one doesn't offer the same space/bandwidth specs.
If I can find some free hosting, I'd be happy to bung the Carnage software online for anyone to download. There's about a Gig's worth of data, including Gfx, ascii, mods, intros, demos, etc.
DaZZaBoY - June 7, 2007 07:49 PM (GMT)
Wow.. that much stuff from CRN?
Be good to see some it m8, as I've completely unplugged from everything computer based lately so a nice retrofest is just what I need to get back into the swing of things. ;)
Majic Mushroom is also supposed to be sending me his full Majic collys in the next day or two, fingers crossed.
Kinmont - June 8, 2007 05:56 PM (GMT)
hiya mate... long time no see.... still up in 'Boro???
Kei - June 8, 2007 08:47 PM (GMT)
DaZZaBoy,
Yeah we produced a lot of stuff as both CyberDreams and Carnage. There's a load of released stuff such as intros, demos, slideshows, Phreaking Only, etc. Plus loads of unreleased mods, gfx, etc. It's stored on 2 CDRs and a fair few Amiga disks. Not sure if the disks still work as they are known to degrade over the years. The stuff on CDR should be fine.
Kinmont,
Left the Boro in 1997. I'm currently in Ipswich. I visit the folks now and again though. Are you in the Boro still? Would love to catch up sometime.
Kei
DaZZaBoY - June 9, 2007 11:31 AM (GMT)
@Kei:
Sounds cool! I can pass over our ftp details if you could upload the stuff for me or snail mail me the stuff on CDR, I'd shout any postage cost of course.
You could always chuck the floppy stuff through aswell if you want and I'd glady do any conversions.
Gimme a knock m8.
Kei - June 11, 2007 08:21 AM (GMT)
I've sourced 200MBs of web space so I can upload some Carnage software.
Amida and I made these CDs many years ago so I'd love others to have access to this software rather than it just sitting in a drawer somewhere.
I'll start another message in the Amiga PD Database forum with the location of the software for all to download. I'll rotate the software every week for the next month or so .

All sounds good to me bro. :D
Kei - August 23, 2007 08:49 PM (GMT)
Hello
I'm back, again.
Just thought I'd post something so I don't get kicked.
I've been setting up my new business and it's taken all my free time getting it off the ground.
Anyway, excuses over.
Kei
DaZZaBoY - August 23, 2007 10:02 PM (GMT)
No probs, Kei. Your post count is adequate enough to save you from deletion anyway. ;)
What's the new business then? Any web presence we can have a goosey at?
Kei - August 26, 2007 12:45 AM (GMT)
Hi DaZZaBoy,
I'm doing some consulting and I've just completed my fourth week for my first large client. I've been so busy that I haven't started on my web site yet although I've registered the domain name. I'll drop you a PM when it's ready.
How's things with you?
Kei
DaZZaBoY - August 26, 2007 09:10 AM (GMT)
Hey Kei,
Everythings tickety-boo here - thanks! The nuclear submarine business is as busy as ever, so keeping me occupied during the working day. ;)
Can't say I'm doing a great deal computer based these days, apart from staying regular in here, chatting on MSN (normally to Sarek) and doing the odd lappy repair in between.
Still working my way through your CRN collection and I very much doubt you will have had chance to convert any of that mountain of DD floppies yet, have you?
Kei - August 28, 2007 06:35 AM (GMT)
Nope, not started converting the floppies yet.
If my RGB to VGA adaptor worked I could get started, but as it doesn't I need a TV and hooking the Amiga up in the front room ain't happening at the mo as far as my girlfriend is concerned.

Understandable. Trying to explain to the spouse why there is a whopping great beige box and about 500 floppies scattered around the front room floor is an impossible thing to do. ;)
Freak^NFA - October 13, 2007 03:00 PM (GMT)
'Ello ello ello, what is all this happening in this 'ere place?
Brief update:
Working 7 days a week, making loads of lovely dosh, spending it all on the house and credit cards. Sigh...
Kei - October 14, 2007 04:07 PM (GMT)
Hi mate. Welcome back.
I'm working 7 days too, 5 at a clients site, 2 at home. Today I got a few hours off which I spent painting the front room. Just sat down and booted the laptop for a bit of escapism.
What are you working on these days?
Kei
Freak^NFA - October 20, 2007 08:43 PM (GMT)
Got three eCommerce sites on the go at the same time, and it's getting difficult to keep track of where I am with each project. I took the day off today to just much about because I've worked about 20 days non-stop recently.
I'll be back on the PHP tomorrow.
