So I'm currently working to build my portfolio, but since we are so close X-mas and New Years, we should have some kind of contest/fun, and at the same time, you help me build up my portfolio (even if it's not safe for it, it'll still be created)

So what I'm asking from you guys, is to come up with an idea for a holiday poster, no matter how crazy or extreme it may be. The rules are simple:

*All entries are to be posted here, for everyone to see.

*I'll pick the winner and make an illustration for it. If there's more than 1 entry >_> and more that I like, I'll give them a shot too.

*Just go crazy with it.

Have a group shot of the main OTTS members in a drawing.
With Merry Christmas at the bottom and everyone with a santa hat or something festive and we can all look drunk or something and have Santa in the middle of us for the picture. So it looks like a drawn photo of us with Santa.

Two ideas, that are more thought ideas of two already said.

-A comic nook cover: AntiClaus vs. OTTS! Will they save X-mas from total destruction?

-A group picture of main otts members........at a holiday party. SOme could be opening presents, others, could be decorating a tree, or fighting with each other....others having eggnog, two members looking at each other awkwardly under mistletoe....:P maybe Santa could be coming down the Chimmney. with a 'Merry Xmas, or Have a happy holiday' thing underneath.

OR, OR, picture like that, but each of us has with us our favorite fictional babe ^v^

I'm with Batto, but how will Lus know how to draw us all?
Based on our avatars? Pics sent in? Characterizations of our characters?
Should we send in how we want ourselves drawn? (A fun idea, since there are already some of Twilight and Tim floating around.)

Just basing this upon recent Kibitz events, I'd say Lusvell would, in Batto's idea, continue his efforts of the Member Awards of 2006, drawing his interpretation of all of us.

eh, well, my plan wasnt to do anything based on the whole GTC/awards comics characters, but if thats what you guys want...

I saw the pictures from last year yesterday, they were pretty damn sweet, both the drawing and colouring were good.

Lusvell I give you full approval to edit them to OTTS. Fuck GTC. Lets OTTS it up.
But then your character wasn't just GTC you used it for a few things didn't you? It's just a character doesn't mean it has to be tied to that site. Much like the character you drew of me or whoever else was in there.

eh, I'll do a mix with AntiClaus and some of the OTTS crew...I started sketching it yesterday, lets see how it comes out.

OTTS vs X-mas

AntiClaus, Retro, Lus, ElBatto, Hellstorm, ZL, and Rude the henchman.

It's better than anything I can come up with.

Thats approximately 30 to 40 times better than anything I could come up with. I love it, especially the sketch style. How did you come up with the ways of representing those guys in the first place, I mean even for the earlier drawings?

Which one am I?

If the yobo looking Australian guy is me then all I can say is D= my last drawn me was so cool. Actually this new guy kinda grows on you. He's a loveable raggamuffin =D

But I am going to give my honest opinion on this drawing it's good but it's not as good as you can produce your capable of much better. Looks kinda rushed.
Especially your character I am used to it being clean refined and detailed. Always seem to have the utmost care with it. However in this drawing you kind of look like a missing link in Evolution. The monkey demon Lus.
The torn vest dude which I am guessing is me does look quite good. Looks like a mix of Angus Young and crocodile dundee. He looks better than Lus but I think that's because I am so used to how Lusvell looks in these usually.

It is good I really quite like it. That's just my creative criticism on it. I am not an artist so it doesn't count for much but it is good.
Would really like to see some more of your better work at some point though.

I think it was rushed, if I'm not mistaken he started the piece when he was in NY, so my guess is that he was too tired and began this out of boredom, I would love to see a better version in which I'll probably look more awesome 8)

Batto: No offense taken. I understand where you are going. Yea, like Retro said, I started this when I went up to NY, and throughout the bus trip back. When I got here and finished it, I just wasnt feeling it anymore.

I am actually working on something at the moment that may giv some excitement I will PM you about it in a couple days first have to detail what I am doing first.
You are definetly good at drawing but like Pun you see to lack the motivation sometimes lol. I guess that just comes with being an artist.
