I've come to realize that Bleach is the best dub since FLCL and Cowboy Bebop.


It's just the show itself is much worse than these masterpieces. But besides that, the dub is just perfect.

I've been watching One Piece non-stop lately O_o...At the Davy Back Fight arc at the moment.

Its a bout this japanese high schooler, that has supernatrul powers somehow(that was a crap explanation, sorry).....I've only read the first volume of manga. Haven't felt like picking up the rest yet....

On another note, I just finished vol. 16 of Getbackers. Holy Crap, I don't know if anyone else follows it, but Ban Mido's strength is just mind boggling right now!

And yes, Bleach is worth the hype. Especially if you want to get into a Naruto-eque anime while waiting for the Naruto fillers to end. I found a few episodes as memorable as the Zabuza arc of Naruto, and I'm only 11 episodes into the series...
And the dub is OMG wow. Worth watching, imo.
But still, it's no EVA or FLCL or Paranoia Agent. Not deep, but still awesome.

But anyway its about 'retrievers' Ban Mido and Ginji Amano who call themselves the Getbackers. They both have unique powers Ban can cast 1 min. illusions and has 'the snake bite' Ginji has control over electricity, and meet advesaries with uniques powers. They take on various missions to 'get back what shouldn't be gone' and they are always broke.

Its a great action comedy, theres some drama, and oogles upon oogles of glorious fan service (mostly thanks to Hevn). Its a seriously good read! I really enjoy it.

and for bleach, i've seen some clips rolling on youtube and some other places, from what i've seen it's like a version of one piece's zoro but extremely high on steroids @_@

speaking of anime I got the entire Escaflowne series on DVD, and have sloely been watching them....good stuff!

You guys should all watch the anime Fate/Stay Night. Best anime series of 2006, hands down.

Really, it's just about these magicians that have a fight for the Holy Grail every 10 years. It sounds really generic, but it's pretty good. Like, REALLY good. Advent fucking loves it, if you need proof. :P
It's based on a dating sim, so there are some of those themes, but really, it's just about fighting. But it's just so cool. I mean, it sounds kinda meh, but really, it's something you just have to watch a few episodes, and you'll get hooked.

I'll have to UL episodes tomorrow though, just because torrents are being a bitch at the moment and taking up my memory... <_<

I've been thinking about watching Fate Stay Night, but for some reason, I'm wanting to wait til gets overseas.

I used to read anime. But it got too expensive. :'( I do watch Manga though. Mostly Trigun, Full Metal Alchemist, and Inuyasha.

Most recent anime intrigue has been uncovering the Samurai 7 series, of which I've watched the 1st, 2nd and 4th volumes. Decent anime, but the most enjoyment stems from the unveiled correlations between its derived influence 'Seven Samurai'. I'm hoping the second half of the series lives up to such reputations to be even considered an anime remake of the Kurosawa classic.

I have all Samurai7 volumes. It's quite good.
